Granite Community Church (Baptist Union of Victoria)

Simply beautiful, over 100 years old, I've been told 140 +, and the people are wonderful, I've never been one for mixing with people but these lovely people are warm and friendly, kind and caring, I LOVE it !!!! and am now part of that beautiful family

Small and predictable on the outside; novel and new on the inside. You won't get some new take home technique for church growth here ,but you will meet faithful farmers who haved lived and learned to share practically what little they get back from their huge investment profiles and gifts to us ( grain mostly) - This is no church with its head in the clouds, even though they look to them often .Each member invests each year by putting seed into what can become hard and dry ground. Sure, they want rain and they pray for rain ,but even when they don't see it, which seems like very other year, ( and this very week and months) they are still out and beyond there investing in the best seed of all -good seed that grows missions shops and exports of real people to needy places .
Its one of God's Gem churches - so very hard to find even though you get signs from every highway pointing to it tens of miles away.

No hesitation regards it being my new home Church.
