My wife and I booked for Valentines Day and, I have to say, what an amazing experience.
The food came out fast and was cooked perfectly, the atmosphere was great, and where we were seated had a beautiful view, and the staff.. absolutely top notch! James was so accommodating and really knew his stuff, and August makes delicious cocktails. Would definitely recommend! We will be returning with all our friends

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here. What a fabulous restaurant. Great food, excellent views and wonderful service. This place is a gem. Leo played live music, good guitar and a lovely voice. We will definitely be back.

Had a great experience at Malt Shovel, the setting outside overlooking the river is awesome. The small eats on the menu came out on a big platter and were all delicious. Stand outs for me were the wings and arancini. Came out in a reasonable time and was presented great. Would go again

We had a positive experience as a group of 10 for drinks and dinner. I had chicken wings and the smoked ox cheek. The wings were okay, but the ox cheek was really nice.

I liked the food, and they had a decent selection of beers on tap. The service was pretty good, but I will comment that they seemed understaffed, which was disappointing to see. I could tell they were doing their best to keep up with demand, but looked like they were struggling - no fault of their own, it just seems like they had a roster issue or don't have enough people hired, maybe.

My wife and I came to the taphouse for a delayed Valentines and I'm so glad we picked this place. The food was sensational, atmosphere 10 out of 10 and the service we received from James was just a cut above the rest.
We will definitely be back. Recommend 100%.

This was our first restaurant and our reaction was OMG THIS IS AMAZING. The beer and food was great, dips trio, prawns, calamari and Burrata cheese was simply amazing. A bit difficult to find the place as it is downstairs and not clear on google maps. But once you found it... Just stay there. Price are decent and again, there are a few good beer not the flat tasteless blond that every one has.

This place is awesome the staff are amazing and Amy’s service was impeccable, Chelsea’s drink knowledge is immaculate! Shout out to Abbi for her excellent management skills and being on top of everything! To Dylan, Kayla and all the staff amazing service over all and an awesome day! Highly recommend!

We had an incredible experience here. Booked an event for a family member’s surprise 70th birthday. From the get go, the team were fabulous to work with. On the day of the party, Kayla & Amy were superstars in making sure we had everything we needed and ensuring everything ran smoothly. They assisted us in storing a cake and balloons, allowing us to set up a whole area and were so accommodating. I would absolutely host an event there again. Thanks team for helping us create amazing family memories!

Plenty on offer for beverages, good selecrion of food offers from snacks, small shares or sizable meals

A very lively restaurant near Torrens River. The food, service, and environment are all very good overall.

The food would have got a five star rating IF the roasted half chicken was hot, it was just warm, but was tasty.
Chips are 10/10.
The deep fried mushrooms were the meal of our visit. Spectacular.
The chicken burger was exceptional as well.
We had one in our group with special needs for food and the waiter quickly write things down, so we didn’t expect the best.
Her meal arrived exactly how she ordered it with all of the special requests.
Well done.

The only downside was the parking.
It required a NASA degree of navigation and know how, only we were from Sydney, so the know how was not there.
So we called the restaurant to ask how and where to park and the person who answered the phone was also extremely cryptic in where to park.
In total, we probably spent nearly 30 minutes driving in and out of massive underground car parks to still find ourselves in the lobby of the Adelaide convention centre.
Then it took directions from the usher to find a walkway around to this place.
There in NO street parking or easy access.
That is the major issue here.
All in all food was terrific, service was great, accessibly was atrocious.

Had our 2022 NYE here, great food, from seafood,roast meat to dessert, everything was so beautiful. Unlimited drinks for 5 hours and live music at such a premium location. Worth every dollar we spent. A big thank you to all the staff working that night, especially those bartenders, they were flat out that night. Highly recommend!

A perfect location for a pre theatre dinner. It's great to have a restaurant right on the riverfront that serves family friendly meals and craft beer. We had the feast platter from the new menu. It was a spoil and every element tasted good. I have dined there a few times and would love to see the roast lamb back on the menu. They did have lamb chops option though served with mash.

Popped in for a coffee but no milk so it was a vr for me. I was blown away by the kindness of the staff who conducted an Easter egg hunt for my son and enlisted him in delivering plates and condiments. He essentially had is first job! Paid in chocolate lol Not only is this a great place to come with children on a quiet afternoon but I'll wager it's an amazing place to work too. Such kind staff is an indication that they are treated well by their manager, they enjoy their job and I'll bet the turnover is low.

Front of the house service is amazing, all staff are lovely and bubbly. All time favorites are crispy mushroom, buratta, fish of the day and chicken wings. Not to mention the variety of drinks are phenomenal! Definitely highly recommend

Always delicious. Service is always prompt and with a smile. Always so busy on a Friday night and their service is still 10/10. Food came out really fast. Only issue was they don't supply kids menu on game days.

Awesome experience everytime ! All Front of House were Amazing. Friendly atmosphere. The Food is beyond your expectation for a pub. Every detail on the feast platter (meat, vegetables, sauce) was carefully prepared and cooked and taste delightful. Even the simplest of the menu like My favorite Crispy mushroom, parmesan chips and yummy chicken wings we’re consistently served and always taste delicious.As a regular I would like to have a place to go where food is consistently appetising and enjoyable with friendly staff around ..Malt Shovel Taphouse Highly recommended!!!

We had a delightful meal. We shared a plate of pork. The crackling was up there with the best I have eaten. A plate of salt grass lamb, greens and crispy fries with truffle and Parmesan.

Absolutely loved this place. Such an amazing Chef, the food was delish. Highly recommend.
