Murray Downs Resort

A very comfortable and well-appointed apartment. The resort was an ideal place to stay after a recent road trip through South Australia.

Lovely place to relax and quiet...large spa pool and great space around outdoor pool..plenty of recliners to lounge on ..great for families..we enjoyed our time there..about 5ish minutes from cbd......:)

This motel unit was 1st class.
Everything clean and well presented

Our active seniors coach tour stayed 1 night and we received outstanding service from Mick and team. Mick in particular went the extra mile by driving a number of our seniors to and from the nearby club for dinner. We loved the rooms and breakfast in particular . An excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Great golf course, rooms need updating but still clean and ok

Clean, comfortable rooms with cooked breakfast.
Excellent service from the motel, clubhouse and pro shop.
We'll be back. Loved it.
Only downside, is it's 5km out of town.

Wonderful resort with a magnificent golf course. The restaurant has good quality meals at reasonable prices. TAB on site, big screen for the footy, all the basics really for a great golfing weekend with the boys.

One of the best golfing weekends away I've had.
Top notch course, ranks as one of my favourites, but beware it's challenging, especially the greens which are fast with undulating surfaces and bunkers strategically placed.
A great visit had by all, Clubhouse and restaurant were great with generous meals at affordable prices.

Just back from a fantastic golf weekend. Stayed at the resort. Great place to stay. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend doing the gourmet BBQ pack at the resort. $30 a head. Beautifully presented meats, boiled spuds, salads and breads that you cook yourself on pristine clean BBQ area. Also we had cooked breakfast each morning on lawn area. Delivered on time and they were just off the pan. Beautiful. Lovely family atmosphere around the pool too. We will be back !

Spent the Easter long weekend at this resort. Good location with a short drive to Swan Hill. The Murray Downs Country club was a short walk from our apartment, which had a great selection for all of the family. The apartment had everything you needed.

Our two night stay at Murray Downs Resort was exceptional. From the moment we arrived the wonderful staff went above and beyond and provided excellent service throughout our entire stay. Our room was sparkling clean and really comfortable and our breakfast was delicious. We really loved everything about the Resort, highly recommend and cannot wait to stay again!

I have stayed in many golf resorts over the years and i must say that the staff at Murray Downs Resort have been the most friendly and helpful staff i have encountered hands down. Me and 5 friends stayed here for three nights in the standard rooms and we had a fantastic time.

Make no mistake, this resort certainly isn't the flashiest (very reasonable considering the modest price we paid for the package), however, the rooms were clean,well maintained and the service was 5 star.

The course itself was beautiful and well maintained, the pro shop staff were extremely friendly & accommodating with respect to tee times and carts.

And finally the on-site bistro had a great selection of meals that were delicious and extremely cheap by Melbourne metro standards.

I would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay. Rooms are clean and the surrounds are beautiful. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Can't say that my golf did the magnificent course justice. Recommend this as a holiday stay for everyone. Cheers to all at the Murray Downs Resort.

Great place to stay and family friendly. The rooms had heaps of space and we also scored a self contained unit.
Was walking distance to the club and golf with a bus into town at night. Perfect place to stay and have a relaxing time and not have to worry about driving anywhere.
The BBQ pack was awesome also!!!!!

Recently I travelled to Murray Downs for 5 days of work. I was booked into the Murray Downs Resort by my employer. I arrived to check in about 7.30pm and I was exhausted having driven all day. I was met by the very friendly owners Nicole and Mick. After checking in Nicole enquired whether I would like dinner? I ordered Lamb Shanks which were delivered to me with in about 30 mins and the meal was delicious. My room was very comfortable and spacious. Over the next 5 days, I was supplied with breakfast, lunch and dinner from the resort which was outstanding and varied. Mick and Nicole couldn't do enough for myself or my work colleagues. The resort is located away from main roads and was very quiet. Mick and Nicole work very hard to maintain their high standards for the resort and you would not meet nicer people. I will return for a vacation when I have an opportunity. Highly recommended. Thank you. Scott

Rooms were great except probably need more power points. None beside the bed in room 40.
We got an upgrade which was fab. Fabulous resort.

Great accommodation in 1 bedroom with nicely equiped kitchen. Nice pool, easy parking outside room.Short walk to Murray Downs Golf club for drinks and dinner.
