Gallagher Point Camping Area

Great place to escape the crowd and be surrounded by nature, only 6 sites, quiet, secluded and with nice views of the hinterland (Glass House Mountains) in the background. There are mosquitoes (as any bush camp) but nothing that a good repellent can't solve it.

A nice little area to throw up the tent, get the snags cooking, break open a coldie or Two .... bait up a hook, throw the line in and then just relax and watch the world go by ..............................

Great place to camp.... clean... peaceful.... natural. Had great time... staying longer next time.

A few little tracks off the road lead you to some pretty special views .. Great to explore with the kids ... Hot tip *Take insect repellent 😄

Nice Sites but a little close. No real Sand beach. Little sand and then mud from the mangrove. Lots of Mossis and Sandflys

Pretty good spot, good size campsites with some privacy. Need 4x4 to access. Mud flats at low tides so beware insects

Great area

Secretly loved it - the less popular it is, the better! Only 6 camps, segregated enough. Fire pits (total fire ban tho), sand flats for the kids to play on at low tide, dead end road and no ramp, so no through-traffic.

Relatively isolated spot with no facilities and definitely no crabs or fish. You don't want to camp here it's terrible. Best to just book somewhere else. Nothing to see here. 😉
