Nice quiet shady area, plenty of room, carpark can fit up to 2 4wd wagons. Recommend bringing a shower if staying for a few days or swing into the creek via swing to cool down during the day.

Amazing camp area! Although there were others camping, the camp area was peaceful with well-spaced sites, some with tree coverage. The last stretch of road was a bit hairy, but say many 2wd small vehicles come up and down no worries.
Bathrooms were surprisingly clean, well-stocked and with flushing toilets!
This camp accesses many 4wd and dirt bike tracks leading to day-camp areas, creeks and lookouts throughout D'Aguilar National Park. Was hoping to catch a glimpse of a Platypus (because apparently they live in the creek at the camp area), but with no luck.
A beautiful spot, will definately be visiting again.

This camp ground is awesome. Toilets are clean, so are the grounds. An abundance of wildlife and love going swimming in the creek.

Great little camping area. Kookaburras came to check what we were eating each day. Did get cold at night (we were there in winter)so bring plenty of firewood. Toilet block has a shower room where you can hang your own shower and get clean if staying for a few days. We had camp site 1 which was really private depending which way you faced your tent.

Absolutely wonderful campground! Flushing toilets, a room to hang a camp shower, lots of shade, friendly wildlife (watch out for the kookaburras while cooking!) and affordable prices. Book online ahead of arrival to avoid mix ups and overcrowding. BYO wood. Lots of space and just 9 sites you can really spread out here. Sites are tent/swag only, so no caravans, and there is a swimming hole as well as day use area with a small bushwalk to the creek.
10/10 ; will definitely be back!

Great large camp spots with good metal fire pits and flushing toilets. Dirt roads a bit rough for a 2 wheel drive. Watch out for the 4wd cowboys going too fast. One lost a car down the side of the road.

A lovely spot. Big camping area. Site 9 has the best for sun in winter and for solar panels. I stayed in my car in the car park of site 3. It doesn't get much sun but the shade would be great in summer. Bandicoots, pademelons and birds around. The rats or maybe even the bandicoots like soap - lol. They took mine from the table. And they seem to like scented candles too. Home among the trees !

Great campground. Quiet and tucked away running along a beautiful creek. No showers but toilet block very well maintained. We will be back!

Great camp-site with clean creek for swimming. Definetly take the long way through from the gantry for a great day out.

Wonderful spot with kids. It was a little chilly in May, but I can imagine it would be the perfect warmer-weather spot. Nice and Shady and a great little swimming hole. The last 100 metres or so of road (coming from the north) are unsealed and there's a bit of a steep hill. I was worried about our 20-year-old 2wd sedan managing but it worked out just fine. Tank water and flushing toilets were a bonus, fire pits and sites were well maintained.

Extremely well maintained campground in the middle of the bush surrounded by beautiful bushland and amazing wildlife perfect for the family with well-maintained facilities perfect for the Mrs and small children

Great place for a couple nights in nature. It is fairly rough to get here via the fire roads, but most vehicles should be able to do it. It is very close to swimming and fishing areas so the kids should love it. The sites are large and grassy. Each has a fire ring, but bring your own firewood

Great spot on the creek, beautiful bushland and rainforest, to bad the government has close all camp area down currently

Really nice campsites.
Only 9 decently sized sites so not too busy.
Fire pits for each site.
Flushing toilets and shower cubical but byo shower.
You could probably manage to get in with 2wd, but I wouldn’t take a nice car. 4wd would be preferable.
No phone reception.

Clean and well spaced out campsites. Midweek visit but was still popular. Firepits were great, generous sized and clearly numbered campsites made social distancing easy, plenty of grass to set up tent on.
Only negative was the ongoing sound of a rifle being fired from a nearby private property in the late afternoon, outside of QNPWS control I know but it definitely interrupted what was otherwise a very serene setting.

Quiet, cheap, beautiful, basic. If you want a hot shower I would avoid, but if you don't mind going stinky for a couple of days, I highly recommend.

Very nice camping spot with great facilities. Decided to camp here after stumbling across it a few weeks earlier via the gantry track. It looks like it will be our new regular spot after similar campsites around the area have become too ‘commercialised’. Grassy open sites with great access to the creek and excellent fire pits.

So close to Brisbane but with a remote feel.

Lovely & open, sites spread out. Toilets & water. The creek is great for young kids, not too deep & not flowing. Lots of native wildlife. Goannas, kookaburras, bush turkeys, platypus & turtles. They had a ball.....

Only 9 numbered sites, but a BIG open space with tall trees. Large and well maintained firepits. Wonderfully secluded the night I went (a Mon night). Great variety of birds and birdcalls in the morning.
The bush turkeys are brassy about raiding people's camps, (kookaburras, too; thieved food straight outta my pan) so be sure to keep your food secured.
