Soup was such a fresh set of flavours and the pork roll crunchy and filling. Our service experience was a 10:10 and a great introduction to this gem of a restaurant in Port Melbourne.

Wow, we came in here after an afternoon at the beach and wow.... Was a special treat. We wanted something fresh, so we both ordered the Coconut poached chicken salad and the taste was great and a wonderful portion. Loved it with the large prawn cracker. Amazing attentive service. You can tell this place is being managed well as the staff are on to it (uncommon in post-COVID Melbourne).

I’ve gotten takeaway from here a couple of times (I got the Mekong curry) and really enjoyed it. A big serving that lasts a couple of meals. However, ate in for the first time the other night and really enjoyed the food.
It was all great however really loved the confit salmon in sesame cone and the crispy baby snapper 💛

We tried the chef’s menu and honestly, it's worth everything!! The owner was so nice and friendly to us, staff always smiled at us 😊 the food is bussing and beautifully decorated 💯 however, the portion was quite a lot for 3 ppl, we'll definitely go back to try more

Fantastic place - delicious fresh food, fusion street style, tasty, gorgeous flavours and not expensive. Service team lovely and fast ! LGBQTI friendly. Busy and bustling, tight quarters so not for a "relaxed" gathering. We will be back multiple times. Recommend the set menus. 👍👍👍👍👍

Friendly local traditional & fusion Vietnamese food. Good quality food, delicious and great customer service. They also have a great selection of cocktails, which makes for a nice dessert. Very popular with locals and tends to be busy during the week and weekends. Recommend booking in advance.

OMG! Where to begin. I have eaten here many times now and will again (many times) in the future. The food is outstanding and nothing like I have experienced in "standard" Vietnamese restaurants. NOTE: this is a Vietnames "fusion" restaurant.
I have indulged in virtually every dish on the menu and I have never been disappointed. I could easily describe each dish and how delicious they are but there is not enough time to do so. Also, if you like sweet cocktails I highly recommend the "Late NightJaffa". It's not in their list of cocktails (it was just a special some time ago but they will still make it on request). It contains vodka, cointreau, kahlua and coffee, as well as a square of chocolate. It is sooooooooo nice and the first thing I order when I sit down. Do yourself a favour and book a table. If you are not sure what to order, try the "Chefs Menu" @ $70PP. We added it up to be $120 value!!!! And the cute napkins they give you which expend when dropped into water.! I can't recommend Hanoi Mee highly enough!

Their Bahn Mi is AMAZING. I order the caramelised tofu flavour and it’s so fresh! I’m yet to eat inside the restaurant but it’s got a great atmosphere and always smells so good.

Sunday lunch at Hanoi Mee. Loved the brightly coloured interior and the menu impressed in being able to cater widely to all in our dining party including the vegetarians and the dieters. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and would go back to try a few we didn’t have the stomach space for, the bao and Bahn mi. Fresh flavours and reasonable pricing, quite satisfied with this find

My wife and I decided to go out for some Vietnamese in Port Melbourne. We were in a bit of a rush as we had plans to go somewhere elsewhere after, we told the waiter this and they said "not a problem at all" and they weren't wrong.

The service was excellent with everybody on point from the bar staff to the waiters and waitresses.

The food was absolutely amazing and everything was fresh.

The price was fair and reasonable.

The vibe of the whole restaurant was great and we both cannot wait to go back as a couple or with a group.

So glad I found this place. We had the twice cooked beef rib, and chicken and spring roll bun. The rib tasted so deep and rich, coupled with a fresh tangy salad. The bun was super flavourful and the spring rolls were large and homemade. Both were extremely delicious. Completely exceeded our expectations and will come back!

Always busy so make sure you call or book ahead. The best modern Vietnamese in the area. The service was attentive and fast. The food tasted amazing, recommend trying pork belly entree and xo sauce chicken main. Great portions and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Brilliant experience! Food was delicious and presentation beautiful, friendly attentive service as well! All along reasonable prices.

A group of 6 of us are here, choosing a variety of meals. We were all very happy with the meals, drinks and service. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Nice, crowded little local serving surprising and delicious fare. We showed up without a reservation and they sat us at the bar without a hiccup. We had the Wagyu pho after prawn dumplings and probably the best spring rolls in Melbourne. Great list of drinks, too. We drank beer Ha noi.

Fantastic food - just love everything on the menu. Whatever you choose you cannot go wrong. Fabulous wine and cocktail list. Try their cocktail of the day - always something interesting and delicious. And the pork hoc is our favorite ♥

First time ordering here and it didn't disappoint! I got their prawn dumpling soup, calamari and crab rolls. It didn't take 30mins to arrive at my place (maybe it depends on the time you ordered and the distance) when I got my soup, it was still hot. And the serving size is generous. I haven't had a prawn dumpling that is really stuffed with real prawns. They also properly packed my takeaway. 10/10 👏🏻

Excellent food. Generous sizes. Great quality. They give some fairly traditional Asian dishes a very interesting and thoughtful twist. Their menu is much more interesting than other Asian restaurants in the area. So much so, we had to go 2 days in a row.
Plus the prices are very reasonable!!

Wow. Staying with a friend and she took me to her local. This place is a gem and I would be back in a heartbeat. Busy F1 weekend but we got seated easily and food came very quickly and wow flavour popped. Waitress was so lovely and really showed genuine interest in us. I want to graze through the menu as the 3 dishes we had were stunning and the rest sounded just as good. Thank you! Definatley worth the tip at the end. 👍
