Stopped on here for a quick bite to eat before heading to Bonorong wildlife sanctuary. A busy and bustling bakery selling pies, sausage rolls and a large selection of cakes, pastries and breads and prices are great. They sell beautiful sandwiches if you ask.

Love everything about the BakeHouse. Plenty veg/vegan options , the unicorn biscuits were literally melting away in the mouth .
Staff always give out a fantastic vibe , warm and welcoming .

Seriously - if you want a very good barista-made coffee in the morning, quickly, with pleasant and cheerful service- this is the place!

Walked in and the line was almost out the door, I was served in less than 5 mins and waited maybe an extra 3 mins for my absolutely perfect coffee. At no point did I feel rushed or did the staff come across as stressed. The food as usual was fantastic my only regret is not buying more. Highly recommended calling in and there is plenty of parking available

Coffees are very good, but you can't get ice coffee unless you want a bottled one out of the fridge.

Great service, clean and well worth the trip as their scallop pie is delicious.

Good coffee and a wide range of pastries, breads, pies and... nice and welcoming staff. A good choice for a brunch or lunch. They don’t accept card payments which is a bit odd these days. Although there is an ATM in the shop itself which helps in case you have no cash in hand. Definitely recommended.

I don't write many reviews , but this place deserves it. We drive through Brighton regularly and always stop at the Brighton BakeHouse . These guys are incredibly friendly, their food is on point and reasonable prices. Stop by and give them your business.

Great bakery. Food’s excellent. Prices are reasonable. Coffee’s very drinkable. But most of all the service is very friendly and welcoming. Opening hours aren’t terrific if you’re coming home from work as they shut the same time as everyone else, don’t open late, but you can’t blame them for that. It’s a great place to get a quick meal in town, seeing as your other options in Brighton aren’t fantastic.

Unexpected gem on our travels . Scallop pies full of scallops and quite delicious , and vanilla slice and florentines equally lovely, as were the friendly staff and the coffee - with window views of the surrounding hills. What more could you want?

Always friendly food always great

Good food and friendly staff means that whenever we passed through Brighton we stopped by for a coffee and something to eat.

Best bread in Hobart. I haven't had the scallop pies but people tell me they are the best too. My husband is a connoisseur of lamingtons and he says they are as good as any he has tasted.

Just love calling in & getting great coffee & a choice of wonderful pastries.
