Awesome morning with Gary. My wife and I are total beginners, managed to book in the day before and Gary sorted us out with boards, wetsuits and suncream. We went to a suitable beach just 2mins up the road and he had us riding the whitewater in no time. Awesome instructor and awesome location to learn! Cheers

Best day ever, Gary is an absolute legend! Within 30 mins of calling we were at his house sorting out wetsuits and boards. Great range of equipment for all levels, local surf break advice and a highly knowledgeable teacher. All at very good prices. I was able to get a good shortboard while my partner went out for a lesson. She was a beginner and was riding 3-4ft waves by the end. If you are in Scamander this is a must do!

Had a surf lesson with Gary on the weekend with our family and it was great. Gary done a great job teaching us how to surf as we had never surfed before. Gary supplied all the kit and made the whole time feel relaxed and fun.

Did a family surf lesson this morning while we were in Bicheno and loved it!! Had so much fun and feel confident with the basics of surfing now! didn’t even know I would like surfing as much as I did! I highly recommend this!! 🌊🏄🏻‍♀

We rented some Softboards and wetsuits and surfed in Bicheno it was great and Gary was so accommodating and very chill. I definitely recommend renting with Gary!

We rented a couple of boards and wetsuits from Gary and surfed at Shelly Point. He was really welcoming and flexible, even finding time between teaching lessons at school to supply our boards. He gave us tips for when and where to surf as well. Good value at $40 for a half day and a flexible return time. Thanks

I had a great time and I learnt heaps! I've basically never managed to catch a wave before properly but I managed many with Gary. He had really clear tips and instructions how to improve and get a hang of it. Highly recommend!

Gary looked after me with a really sweet, fun board and tipped me in to the perfect spots for changing weather over the couple of days I was in Scamander.
