Great camping and fishing. Views from Rame Head track are superb. Lots of wildlife including Bandicoots and Monitors

A wonderful wild coastline where the river/lakes meet the wild ocean; clean , well-defined paths allow easy walks through teetree forests from which one can glimpse the forces of nature.

Thurra River is amazing!! Inlet, river, lighthouse & the beach. Plenty of wildlife...Just watch out for the River Snakes cruising down the river!

To reach the camping ground close to the lighthouse, you need to drive on dirt road for almost 50 mins, and the access to the lighthouse via car is closed. A beautiful walking trail to the lighthouse, 2.2 km to the lighthouse takes 55 minutes. The sand dunes and the sunset looks awesome.

You can hire a boat and go fishing in the lake. No need to have boat licence if you are hiring a slow boat.

Beautiful park with minimal people running around, some magic spots for 4wding

Worth the 6hr drive from Melbourne. You can access the park with a standard car, but it's tough going!

The coastal walk is scenic and beautiful. I also spotted my first snake!

An absolutely beautiful place to visit. There is so much to see there and some amazing scenery. If you want to go camping or feel the need to get closer to nature then this place is definitely worth a visit. For those who want to escape from the rat race for acouple of weeks or even if you just want to get away from it all for acouple of days, then I must recommend this place to everyone! I couldn't give it higher praise if I tried, it's just so beautiful! Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Another beautiful, compelling and incredible natural place in Australia (or places). I did the Wilderness Coast walk from Bemm River to Mallacoota, then on to Merrica River in Nadgee NSW. I'd skip the Bemm-Pt Hicks beach slog, but from thereon it was a magical experience (seals, snakes and dingoes + more).
