Ferry is free and suitable for a car with caravan (about 15 meters). Even trucks are at the ferry.

Used this ferry as an pedestrian.
Save place on ferry to head over.
Next to it visit the Old Government House.
Refreshments there. Perfect 😘!

Fantastic experience! The driver was super friendly. First timers! The kids had a great time. Was able to fit multiple cars at a time. Wait time was only 5 minutes but it was all so worth it.

Very short and quick ferry ride. It is a free service and operates 24 hours a day every day of the year.

You can sit in an undercover area while on the ferry.

There are toilets near the entrance to the ferry. They were not great but still usable.

There was no waiting to be able to drive onto the Ferr, and the bloke driving it gave a nice smile and wave as I entered and exited from the Ferry

We travelled across on the 27th of November and back 0n the 28th. Kids loved it. Friendly and jovial staff happy for a chat. Aussie legends.

Short ferry ride. If you are waiting and need the toilet. You could run down to the courthouse as well. They make coffee as well.
