Always love coming to stay at this lovely caravan park right on the beautiful Goulburn River. It’s so peaceful and relaxing and always a friendly atmosphere. It has all the basic facilities we need. The perfect location to make the most of Yea, Yarck and Alexandra if you wish to explore the local towns.

This park is an absolutely stunning place. I come here quite often and it’s always in a clean and tidy state. The caretakers are very polite and professional. Cannot recommend enough!

We were stranded with a flat tyre and pulled in under very wet conditions.
The place was so well maintained and the owner helped us with providing a compressor and a dry area to sort our tyre out.
She gave us a run down on her park and was very accommodating with her local knowledge.

A group of us were in the area for work and camping here for a few weeks. Beautiful, abundant lands full of birdlife. Amazing river to swim in. Clean facilities. The caretakers went above and beyond to accomodate us, lovely people, we are so grateful! Thankyou, we will be back.

Just had a great wkend away here at molesworth caravan park on Australia day. People are friendly and such a good place to vist and relax.
The park will supply a fire pit for people who want to enjoy a fire at night or cooking over some coals. You can buy firewood at the park or bring your own.
Only 10min drive away from yea to resupply on food n drink, cafes and shops. Goulburn Valley inn (molesworth pub) is walking distance from the park with selective weekends showing bands and thier bistro meals are is exactly what you expect from a country pub 👌

I have put my name down for a caravan site as I want to come back many more time with kids to enjoy as this park is a kid friendly and pet friendly as well.

Nice place to rest up. Staff were great and easy going in allowing us to select our site. None of being dumped on top of other campers like in the bigger more commercial parks. Outlook on the river is pleasant, but it would be good if the council spent a few dollars and upgraded river access to free up the boat ramp. Will be back as these little uncomplicated gems are hard to find.

My first stay here and will definitely come again. Really friendly and safe feeling community. Great communal kitchen and BBQ area. Toilet and shower facilities are well maintained. There is a small, calm area of the river for kids to swim at the boat ramp. Not many powered sites available currently (hopefully that will change) so bring your solar stuff lol

It was so nice to arrive to the campground, Steve and Emily were so welcoming all the time, they are doing a good job there.
The camping is quiet, green, full of big trees and the river next to it.
Good facilities also. We stayed for a month and looking forward to come back!

Stayed 4 nights early March 2022 to do the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Ideal location - midway on the trail. What is especially useful for cyclists is the steel rail around the recreation reserve (which is a large footy field). So you have a campsite and a strong steel rail next to your tent where you can lock your bike securely. Although it's unlikely that anything would go missing, as the camp ground is secure, private, and quiet. Stevo and Emily do an excellent job managing and maintaining the reserve. The showers and toilets are always clean. The community room has an AC powerpoint you can use to recharge a battery power pack during the day. Other than the caravan park / recreation reserve, there's not much in Molesworth. Yea is the closest town where you can reprovision at Foodworks. Great star visibility on a clear night.

What a tranquil location leading to the high country. Don't spread the word too far as the park may be overrun with campers. The weather was hot over the Australia Day weekend but the stay was pleasant and the facilities were clean. Take my hat off to the management for doing the best they could with the power issues and limited lighting in the facilities.

A hidden gem!

John and Judy really take care of the place and given that I was here because of a difficult situation, made space to help me through it.

The park itself is beautiful, with plenty of wildlife to keep you company. Keep an eye out for the wombats at night 😁

Lastly, the community at Molesworth are really friendly. Having them around to chat to just makes this place that much better.

A big thank you to everyone at Molesworth for making my experience so positive.

Thank you,
L

Judy and John were extremely helpful when we arrived with our caravan on the back of a tow truck. The communal areas were well maintained and the playground was a great hit with the kids!

This is a nice little campground with very good facilities for its size and shape. When I was there, it was me and one other couple and that's all. It's a shame the town pub is closed at the moment, and the general store doesn't have much in it, but there's the Giddy Goat cafe in Yarck not far away.

Met with Judy and John ( the owners ) and asked for a lift back to my car, as I traveled by boat on the Goulburn River, Alexandra bridge end to their caravan park. Wonderful people to talk to and meet.

Another awesome weekend at Molesworth CP, hosted by the ever accommodating Judy and John.
It was a busy long weekend, but we had a lovely space in the park to enjoy with our friends.
Thank you very much and we’ll be back soon.

We called up after hours with no booking on a boys trip and asked for a site and was no worries at all, great customer service, clean amenities, good price will definitely be coming back with the family. A true hidden gem.
