Otway e bikes

So much fun to be had and knowledge to be gained on this guided tour. Perfect activity with a 14 and 11 yr old. Nathan was friendly, knowledgeable, an excited teacher and one to crack a joke or two. If you have no experience with e-bikes don't fret, they are amazing).

My fiancé and I had a fantastic afternoon e-biking around Beech Forest with Nathan. We loved his passion for the land and we learned a lot about the rainforest, biodiversity, local plants and the local community. His tour is excellent value for money and a lot of fun. Definitely would recommend!

Had the best Bike ride ever. Nathan was absolutely remarkable. Great knowledge of the area and made sure our family had the best time. Had my 5 yrs old at the back during the whole ride. Nathan was so accomodating to allow me have solo ride as well while he rode the one with the kid at back. Kept us informed about the local history and current ongoings. Must go anytime if around the area. Thrilling 👍🏼

I join with everyone else, what a great experience.  Nathan is a great guide who is friendly and knows a lot about the area (people, plants, and animals).  We were a little late to our reservation but he waited for us and we still got the full experience. Bikes are easy to ride and my 2 year old enjoyed being pulled behind me in a 2 wheel carrier.  Enjoyable views and got to see some eagles too.

Nathan is a fantastic guide who is passionate about the outdoors - environment, flora and fauna. He is also good with kids. My son, Samuel told me he enjoyed e-bike trail ride today.

We had a great day with Nathan! It was such a beautiful day and special experience. We’ve learned a lot of ecological knowledge from Nathan who knows so much about the area and purely loves the nature. Really appreciate the journey with him, he is such a kind, funny and warm man especially to the kids. My kids all loved the E-bikes riding very much, even though it’s their first try. Highly recommend this riding, it’s really worth if you care about our nature, ecology and environment.

We had a fantastic afternoon with Nathan on the e-bikes, following the old rail trail at Beech Forrest. Nathan is a wealth of information on the area and ecosystem and is passionate about sharing his knowledge. It was my first experience riding an e-bike and Nathan took his time to make sure we were all comfortable with our bike choice and it’s set up. Loved it - e-bikes are a game changer! Highly recommend.

Nathan was a great guide, and so generous with his knowledge of the local area. If coming in the wet/cooler months, we highly recommend wearing a rain coat and water resistant shoes/gumboots/ change of footwear for after. Book in advance and be prepared for an outdoor adventure!

Mum and I had the best time riding with Nathan. We loved his passion for the country, his ability to infect us with his appreciation for the little details in nature, his knowledge of plants and generosity in sharing with us the history of Beech Forest. The ride left us falling in love with Beech Forest more than we would ever have. The e-bikes were so much fun to ride as well, so addictive to accelerate and just watch the scenery whiz by until Nathan calls for a halt because he’s got more insight to share which we loved!

Nathan is a great host! The bikes are excellent. Nathan is very patient and caring with the little kids and guided us very well. He made the tour fun and very interesting - the kids loved it very much. He helped us spot a Koala in the wild which was one of the highlights! Nice scenery and bikes are easy to ride. One of the best experiences in our trip indeed!

Perfect experience and Nathan was friendly introducing everything about the forest, and he is not only passionate to this beautiful place , but also inspiring visitors to get to connected with it and take care of it from bottom of our heats. Took my partner on Anzac Day 2023. We both had a cracker of a great time! First time using an e-bike and it is just like riding a bike, only easier! The tour was filled with beautiful sites, good straights to test the bike (if game) and plenty of information about the Otways, the Rainforest and it's histories. Nathan was an amazing guide. Full of positive energy and passion for the area and land- it was very contagious. You can ask any questions and it lead to informative discussions and learnings. His various options of e-bikes were top notch and very easy to use. Easy to find, location is exactly where Google maps says it is.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Nathan's family E-bike tour through the Beech Forest! Nathan was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the best biking routes but also about the rich history and ecology of the forest. The E-bikes were top-notch, making the ride accessible for all ages and skill levels in our family. Nathan's passion for nature and local history was contagious, making the tour educational and fun. A must-do activity for anyone looking to explore the area in a unique and engaging way. Five stars all around!

Nathan (and Loki) greeted us like long lost friends. Within minutes we were confident on the bikes despite never having ridden electric. He was very flexible with the ride route to suit us. We came away after a very enjoyable ride in the light liquid sunshine with a different view on E-bikes (could be short for “Enjoyable bikes” as they transform all the hard bits - like uphills!) but also on Beech Forrest, the Indigenous carers of the land, red berries, the tall redwoods, carnivorous snails and trees that were here before the birds and the bees. Go out of your way to track down Nathan in this beautiful part of the world, you’ll be very glad you did.

I had the pleasure of being shown around the quaint town of Beechforest by Nathan. He did a spectacular job of familiarsing with the local flora, fauna, community and most importantly, teaching me so much about the Indigenous culture of the country and specifically that locale. It has been one of my greatest pleasures having been shown around by Nathan. Look no further for a guided tour and more importantly on an e-bike - a machine which requires absolutely no effort to use and learn (even for a beginner novice like myself). Nathan's passion for his community and the Indigneous culture of thoses' land we were standing on. Such a connection to the community and history of that land he has - I can only wait so long and until my next break that I hope to return for a much longer tour - 1.5 hours flew by too quickly. Thank you Nathan for making vacation one I'll never forget.

Our family of 4 (2 teenagers) had an absolutely amazing time this week with our e-bikes journey through the Otways. Nathan’s knowledge and passion for the area was superb - learning everything from bush foods that can be eaten to natural insect repellent better than Aeroguard! The e-bikes were a new experience for us and just made the whole ride so much fun (and easy!). Highly recommend this and we’ll be back!
