Wazzup Falafel

We drove from the other side of town to try this place because not only was it vegan but has so many gf options and it was well worth it. Falafel was amazing, full of flavour, not dry and perfectly cooked. The stuffed falafel was on another level which surprised us as we didn’t think you could get nicer falafel than the plain flavour.
The service was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic falafels here that are cooked fresh along with their pitas. Always friendly and great value meals. Only nit pick is the pitas could be warmed up a little to match the hot falafels.

They know how to treat customers and make you feel super welcome with a little delicious taste test as soon as you walk in. They clearly take great care and pride in what they do. All vegan too! Great place to grab something quick and healthy. Love it.

Truly authentic Palestinian falafel. Wazzup Falafel have single-handedly raised the bar for the quality of falafel available in Melbourne. You can feel that it's made with love, knowledge, and wisdom and so fresh: the taste can never lie. This is the true representation of food in the Middle-East and naturally along with that comes beautiful Arab hospitality 🫶🏾 absolutely anyone who has stepped through Wazzup's doors has been met with a warm welcome, a smile, and lovingly handed free taste of what's cooking: a fresh falafel dipped in freshly made hommous. 🫰🏾

Especially recommend trying the Palestinian stuffed falafel (mahshi) which is very rare to find anywhere in Melbourne. It's falafel with sumac and chili spiced onions stuffed inside and sesame seeds pressed and fried into that beautiful crust. The fatteh is gorgeously velvety and heavenly as well and like everything on the menu will nourish you well for the day. and my personal favourite go-to order: the special falafel pita pocket. the falafel, the sauces, the pickles, the chips, the salad, mint leaves and my favourite part: the fried cauliflower and eggplant in a pita they make in-house. Went to this place today and I really enjoyed it - I got in there and the owner I believe was there and he gave me a sample falafel with hummus, then when I ordered the special falafel wrap and he asked me if I wanted the chili sauce - he gave me another falafel dipped in the chili sauce to taste - it was a no brainer - yes to the chill sauce!! It was quick service for a gigantic wrap - I should have had it in two sittings not one! But it was so yum. The Tahini was cool, the hummus, falafels, eggplant, cauliflower, cucumber tomato - it was all so fresh tasting, And the falafel wrap was nice a soft and moist - usually wraps can get dry, but this was nice a moist and so good! I loved it so much and ate it all that I had to skip dinner tonight. It was $16.50 total and was so yum. I felt healthy eating it. The ambience is great and I would highly recommend ppl checking this place out. And best of all - it's all vegan! Great job team.

The best falafel I have had in all my years I have lived in Melbourne. They were fresh , made on the spot, crunchy and full of taste. A must try for anyone who loves falafel💜💜

Amazing. All I can say is that this place did all the right things for my expectations and gave us more.

Seriously great falafel. Moist, fresh with a thin crisp shell, little hint of fresh mint was so refreshing in the pocket, kind of meal you eat without putting it down once it’s so damn delicious! Very kind staff.

Best falafel I’ve had… ever!? So crispy, light and fluffy. Heavenly! Such lovely, kind workers as well; so friendly, and was handed a few cheeky falafels to munch on while I waited.
The drink selection is also on point, and do yourself a favour and get the chilli sauce, it’s a flavour explosion.

This was so delicious and sensational.
Welcomed so beautifully and ate till we could could eat no more. The stuffed falafels were my favourite , with eggplant and hommus with toasted almonds took to another level. Washed clean by the black tea and mint. Thanks so much

Greeted on arrival with smiles from all staff, clearly enjoying their jobs! And then pretty much hand fed a piece of falafel with hummus! Yum!

I had the falafel wrap and added chilli to it, I cannot tell you how good this was, the chilli paste these guys make is unlike anything I have ever tasted.

I will be back again and again! Cheers guys

I've been to Wazzup falafel a few times now and have tried pretty much everything on th menu, everything is so delicious, especially the Falafel pita pockets are highly recommended. Absolutely loved the hospitable welcoming and the cultural atmosphere of the cafe.

The food here is so good! I got the special falafel wrap and it was so satisfying and filling. I cannot wait to go back. It’s a great vegan option. I tried to go to the one in Preston but it was closed, so drive to Northcote!
