Mount Waverley Police Station

The facade is a heady mix of post apocalyptic industrial chic and a bourgeois suburban domecile. The interior of the reception area conjures images of a Greenwich village train station platform with almost Orwellian overtones.
I enjoyed my time reporting on bail here every Mon, Wed and Fri between the hours of 0800hrs - 1600hrs ( All charges dismissed at court.. God bless the Judiciary).
The bonds I formed with the eclectic mix of uniformed lawbearers gave me an insight into their world, in return I would regale many a chestnut onto them.
The station clerk who helped re unite me with my missing man bag, my what a physical specimen, this gentle giant of impressive dimensions and jovial nature would be imposing in the uniform. Surely he missed his true calling.

This was the original 24hr police station for the City of Waverley back in the day. Somehow the station got bigger and staffing / operating hours decreased.
The JPs here are a good, well natured group. The cops generally change over regularly so dont really get to know them but the friendly Sargeant who has been here over 20 years is always friendly and approachable. If you want a yarn he is a good fellow.
I run into the civie who works there at the local village shops on his lunch breaks. He seems to have a sturdy gait with a strong as steel gluteous maximus, a no non sense type with a penchant for pork of any variety.

I thank the kind hearted man here who got me back my phone. Sorry I cant to know his name but he look very strong and handsome in an uncle way. He very nice to me. Tall and clean head no hair maybe he can eat many pasties. Look like he can take care of me in bad street.

All days for the service of justice of the peace, very convenient.

Great location and plenty of parking..officers were helpful and attend to the matter quickly..

Good and convenient

I needed two police officers to witness my signature for a document and they were very obliging.

I reported a fake Charity Collector. He was using a collection tin marked "Community CarePlus" This name is not registered on the ACNC register.

I have seen the same people collecting outside the IGA using different charity names for the past year. They always left when I confronted them. They go to the bathroom, take of their ID, put the tin in their bag and run to the train station.

"Community Care Plus" is registered. They are not the same. There
is no website for either name.
Anyone can register a Charity. I work in the Community Sector and there is no information anywhere about this organisation.

They are mentioned on "go volunteer" and "Seek volunteer" because those sites take their information straight from the ACNC website,
There is an address for them in Footscray, but no phone, no way to actually volunteer for them and no information about where they actively work helping people.

I rang the police again and tried to give this information. Both at the scene and on the phone I was treated like I was the problem.
Perhaps the Footscray Police Station will actually listen.
If the police women had actually listened or looked at the constitution of this so called Charity on the ACNC website they would see there is no information there either.

I took two hours off my work and went to this station to have some documents certified by Justice of the Peace at 11:18 on Friday 13/12/2019 and it was closed without any notice! Does anyone care about the customers and their attending hours sign on the door? I don’t think so!

compare to the average support provided to the community, officers are experts with traffic fine. No sympathy, rude and arrogant.

Poor service called to get help about purchase of motor vehicle poor service no professionalism.
