Hire a Food Truck

We hired the Slinky Spud food truck for our wedding and it was one of the best last minute add ons we could have added. Everyone was raving about the potato twisters and my 18 month old ate at least 3 to himself! Thank you so much to Steve and the crew at Hire a Food truck!

We used the services at an event recently with 4 vans attending. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. They were very easy to deal with and made sure all our requirements were catered to. Thanks for helping make our event a huge success.

We booked the Mexican Food Truck for our daughter's 21st birthday party and it was a great success. We had a variety of age groups at the party and everyone found something on the menu that they enjoyed eating. Everything went smoothly from the initial enquiry, booking, us asking for more information, and set up on the night - nothing was a problem. The food was amazing and service was outstanding. It was a 'leap of faith' as we hadn't tasted the Truck's food and we had a lot of people attending from interstate and regional areas. Our daughter had a great 21st party and our guests were still talking about the food the following morning at the Recovery Brunch at our house. Thank you for helping to make the party an amazing experience!

I must say from the outset Steve was brilliant, patient and happy to help with my various requests.
This made me feel very comfortable The truck arrived and from the beginning I knew it would be a great success. The boys in the truck were magnificent and nothing was too hard for them to accommodate.
The food was absolutely fantastic and delicious.
All my guests were impressed with the service and quality.
I did request the all you can eat and that's what we got
Everyone was full but still tried more things.
I can highly recommend Hire a Food Truck for any occasion.

Awesome food great Chefs, made the night a roaring success.

It's always a pleasure dealing with 'Hire a food truck': the food was prepared on site (pizza), extremely tasty, lots of compliments, lovely caterers = 120 happy satisfied staff.

I engaged with Nick at Hire a Food Truck for our engagement party of 85 people and I have nothing but positive feedback. Communication was quick and detailed. The truck arrived on time and there was more than enough food for all of our guests. Lots of compliments on the quality of food too. Very happy with the overall experience and highly recommend.

The food trucks were a real hit for this year's organisation Christmas Party . We needed to cater for 400 indoor and outdoor staff and everyone loved the food served. Trucks arrived on time, and the operators were extremely friendly and helpful. I commend their efforts in the appalling weather on the day - they still kept smiling and pumping out delicious hot snacks !

Used Hire a Food Truck again for a staff event and the food was a hit! There were many happy tummies.
Really accommodating, especially when we could not set up where I had in mind – they kept an open, can do attitude – and also were awesome at running food inside in batches to serve as much as possible in the limited time we had for service.

I engaged Hire a Food Truck for my 40th at home back in 2021. Thanks to Covid we rescheduled several times and finally had my 40th last year in 2022. Nick was very helpful and patient. His service was excellent and the pizzas were delicious. I would definitely recommend Hire a Food Truck.

Our experience with Fabian with the Gourmet Pie Truck was excellent. He arrived early and was well set up by the time the staff were ready.

We had a great time. Adrian and his wife did an amazing job. They kept us feeding until we had ordered all our 100 pizzas. The base they used was delicious and the toppings just perfect. All dietary requirements were covered, gluten free and Vegan/Vegetarian. Everyone of our guests commented about how good the pizzas were. We had an amazing experience. Thank you Nick for your help and we certainly can recommend Adrian again and would use him again if we would have another function.

Hire a Food Truck were great to deal with. For our Glenhuntly Tram Depot we opted for Crepè Day for shrove Tuesday! Wonderful and pleasant service and experience! Not to mention the yummy Creoes! Thank you Nick and Co!
