FUNKY THAI

We arrived as a group of 5 and the service was great and we were well looked after. It was a surprise to find such a nice place in the small Keilor village but if you're looking for good Thai food and happen to be in the area: this is the place to go. The food is delicious and tastes authentic and they are happy to cater to any of your dietary needs. There's an area to eat outside as well if the weather permits but inside is just as nice. I recommend getting the coconut rice to go with your meal and my favourite dish was the green curry.

Went here Sunday night with my family and we all had a great time, service was prompt and great, and the food was delicious! totally recommend, it's a great restaurant run by lovely people and fairly priced with an amazing and wide variety of thai food . they follow all covid safe requirements and I felt very comfortable eating there, plus bonus points to their automated sanitizing station!!

One of a few best Thai restaurant in the region. Flavor was great, ingredients are fresh and their pad Thai dishes was perfect. Highly recommended.

This restaurant has splendid food, it’s so epic. I can’t stay away from it, honestly the food and drinks are to die for. Especially the lemon lime bitters and funky fried rice. I can’t even explain how fresh and tasty here. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner without a problem. Don’t even get me started with the customer service, lady at the front is such a sweetheart and is fire Thank you Funky Thai for your service and amazing food, you will always have a place in my heart!!!!

Authentic Thai food that tastes like the one we had in Thailand. Really glad to have this place in Keilor Village.

I went to Funky Thai Cafe last night with 2 of my friends and the first thing all of the staff did was greet us with a smile and we felt so welcomed. The food was sensational and what I love about the restaurant was that we can customise the spiciness of the food.
Staff were so happy, lively and very helpful. It was my first time there and I honestly had the best experience from all the Thai restaurant I've ever been to. The restaurant was so easy to find and located in a good area.
Will be back and will definitely recommend to all of my friends and family.

On another note, I don’t understand how Persons can WHINGE about the size of the curry puffs when they are appetisers and taste lovely.💕
We have have been ordering from Funky for last three years and only have praise for this professional Business.
Also any Fake or unjustified reviews can be punished by Law….I have a family of Lawyers, so I should know about litigious false remarks on sites.

Absolutely love this place 🥰🥰🥰 Funky Thai is my favourite Thai restaurant! Authentic Thai food and great flavours. Massaman Curry is perfect, the beef melts in your mouth. Gonna try another dish when I come back. Happy tummy just makes my day so great. Thank you so much Funky Thai 😍😍😍

The food tasted amazing, the service was impeccable and efficient! I’ve had lots of massaman curries before, and their beef one, was the best I’ve ever had! Overall a 10/10, definitely buying here again. Highly recommend!!

Incredible aroma of true Thai taste! I was always concerned where to eat due to my allergies, but this place has earned my trust. Menu is perfect, there is something for everyone - even vegan and vegetarian dishes! Rita went above and beyond to adjust the menu for me and was very accomodating. She has the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. The food was amazing - from preparation to presentation and also a great value for the price! I would highly recommend this place. ☺Also make sure you try banana fritters! 😁

This is an excellent Thai Restaurant hidden away in Keilor. The food is delicious and the overall atmosphere is very cosy. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend Funky Thai Cafe! Don't take my word for it, try it out and see for yourselves. Recommend booking because they do get fairly busy in the evenings. <3

Ordered delivery but called in to find out what food could be made vegan - they were so helpful and accommodating to “veganise” any dish was we requested - even making up a special batch of Tom Yum just for us. The food was amazing and portions were very generous. Thank you Funky Thai we’ll definitely be back for more!

Coconut rice flavorful. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. I have always received quality and tasty food . Ate Spicy red curry tonight and forgot to take a picture as was delicious.

Ordered 7 various dishes and appetisers on Sunday for my family. This would be the best Thai food we have had. Great value for money and super friendly service. I'll be back to funky thai for sure.

Wonderful local restaurant serving delicious Thai food! LOVE that they serve kids meals with nuggets and chips for our fussy 4 and 6 year olds while we enjoy the curries! But the kids do steel our coconut rice! We have eaten here a few times and are trying different things each time but haven’t been let down by anything. Stand outs for us so far are the Penang curry, duck curry and the Pad Ped moo krob. Wonderful, friendly and fast service. We look forward to our next visit.

Authentic thai food. We had the duck curry, pork belly with chinese broccoli, steam barramundi, tom yum soup. Really ended our day well with this meal, especially with the hot tom yum soup on a cold wet day. Waiter was also very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

Totally recommend this place and will return.

Hands down the best thai food in Australia! So flavoursome and the workers are lovely! the food was even still steaming hot when I opened it at home! Would give more than 5 stars if possible

Tried it tonight for the first time & was most impressed. Delicious beautiful authentic flavours. We ordered the Penang curry (veg), pineapple fried rice, salt & pepper calamari and all 3 were tasty. Spicy but good. We’re rapt to have this in Keilor
