First time at the AO and definitely not the last. The venue is amazing, great facilities, a lot of entertainment, many free things, good food options. My kids had an amazing day, amazing vibes and a lot of fun. If you have kids it’s a great family outing, with the day ground pass you have access to all the enjoyment, you also access to Kia Arena and John Cain Arena for free, the practice courts are a the best way to see your favorite players, and the ballpark is perfect for little ones to blow some (a lot of) steam.

Love the AO, a ground pass is perfect to check out all the top players. No need to buy a stadium ticket unless you are really really keen on a player. Guaranteed to see an epic match

Get there early. Watch the top players practice on the outside courts then choose your courts. Be prepared to queue and sit in the sun if you want a seat in the popular matches. Facilities and organisation generally very good. Get an arena court if you're here for a few days but only if you want to see the really top players. They're often not the best matches though. Bring your own lunch. Plenty of water fountains. Super

First time going to the AO in 23. Food was amazing. Heaps of hydration stations for those hot days. Surprisingly a lot to do if you only get the ground pass during the first week. Saw a few top ranked players in ground pass access areas. Massive area to eat and drink under a shady spot and can watch the games on massive screens. Would highly recommend for any tennis fans. Even casuals. Great for families too as there is a play area for the kids across certain parts of the venue.

A great day out. Even if you only have a ground pass there is plenty to see! From the shops to the foods stands and the free courts such as the Kia and 1573 arena and court 3, and all the rest! It’s a fantastic day out and everything is clearly signed so easy to find!

Great tennis venue. I bought tickets to the Rod Laver Arena for the Australian Open in January 2024. Not cheap but a great view of the court. Check your not sitting in the sun. Outside court #3 is also good. It’s free for general admission tickets.

Loved the whole expierence in the Charity match. The party lights, the dj, the energy of crowds, fab shops outside on lawn, eats, cute youngsters helping you out in snazzy uniforms. The roof opening up to show Melbourne sky line.. Awesome... Would love to do it again. 🌹

By far the best of all four Grand Slams. Open courts, you can watch the pros up close like nowhere else (literally standing right next to the court without barriers or fences). The tournament where only a day ticket is truly worth it. I had the best tennis experiences of my life there, and the people there are also much friendlier than anywhere else.

Australian Open 2022, the scorching time of year in Melbourne, Australia. Each year Tennis Australia aims to impress their patrons with new additions and attractions, this year was no exception.

We were greatful enough to experience the box suite in John Caine Arena which made the weather that little more tolerable. There was plenty of food and drink options around the grounds and we covered most of the landscape, just didn't make it to the AO hill on the outskirts.

Overall ah enjoyable experience, as always I recommend actual tennis fans to go within the first few days before the draw cuts down to doubles and juniors matches only.

A really terrifically run tennis tournament, with an huge emphasis on being patron friendly. Many interesting places to eat and drink (not inexpensive!), lots to do and see, staff helpful and knowledgeable. It’s a joy to visit from start to finish
