This is our fourth visit to this friendly restaurant. Very good service & given good portion of foods too. The foods we ordered are gluten free and its super yummy and it’s highly commendable.

came hear for a birthday, and had a great time! food was delicious and refined, great presentation. portions were generous and we had plenty of leftovers. staff were very welcoming and accommodating. the overall aesthetics and atmosphere was very ambient and cozy, was a really lovely experience. would recommend!

I’m anaphylactic to peanuts and this is the safest and most nut friendly restaurant in Melbourne. I’m always treated very kindly and the food is incredibly delicious without the nuts. Have been coming for the last 15yrs with my mum and I hope to be coming for many years to come. Tonight we tried the Beef Brisket Green curry and the beef was so soft and tender, good to try something different than our usual

You can’t fault Sumalee with their delicious food, beautiful service and nice atmosphere! The food came out really quickly. We loved all of our dishes, especially the padthai and crispy tofu. My daughter loves the waffle! The host was friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.

Amazing experience we had eating at this fantastic Thai restaurant. If you would like to escape from hectic schedule, make sure you head down to this restaurant. We had such a great time. Foods, drinks and desserts are awesome. We can't wait to come back :)

Love this small family style Thai place! Excellent food and services. Most importantly, there is a gluten free menu as my hisband is a celiac. May be a bit noisy when full house!

Sat dinner here authentic Thai cuisine, beef red curry very tender and tasty, pad Thai bit sour taste coconut if served in small bowls would be nicer all over good experience would come back for sure

Sumalee's service and food are outstanding. The big serving sizes and beautiful food presentation are a bonus.

My family of 5 ordered 1 entrée, 5 main dishes, and some rice and we demolished them all. Not a single grain or drop was left on our plates because every dish was just so delicious. My favourite was the Massaman Lamb Curry - the lamb fell off the bone and was so tender, and the curry was very flavourful.

The staff here are so kind and took really good care of us.

I recommend booking in advance as it gets crowded even on the weekdays.

Best Thai restaurant in Melbourne. Genuine fresh Thai food with exquisite flavours. All dishes are fantastic - you will not be disappointed. If you enjoy Thai food this restaurant is a must ! Great food and service, very friendly staff and great atmosphere. It is a small restaurant so be sure to book in advance so you are not disappointed - they are full every night which tells you something about the place. A great dining experience and well worth a visit - you will not be disappointed ! We have been back multiple times.
