Amazing Italian food! Loved the decorations & photos on the walls. We ordered three dishes, and our food came very quickly. They make fantastic wood-fire pizza with generous amounts of toppings on top! Perfect for sharing with friends.
The salt & pepper calamari was fresh, crunchy, and, delicious, with nice chips & refreshing salad on the side.
We also tried their chicken & avocado risotto, which was creamy and rich.
The overall price was okay, good service and vibes. Make sure to make reservations during weekends.

Little bit of Italy in Mount Waverley

Stumbled upon this cool little place in Mt Waverley. As soon as the food hit the table, we were all eyeing each other's dishes, thinking 'Did I order the right thing?'. After the first few bites, everyone was smiling. The food was spot on and we all said we'd come back to try more. Definitely worth a visit!

Highly recommended. The pasta is amazing, pizza is thin and crispy and tasty, and the staff are lovely.

The arancini were a bit mushy but that’s part and parcel of arancini so I now know they’re not for me. They were delicious though.
Come here often and always like it.
Oh and the meatballs and affogato also excellent

Always a great feed and time at Basilico. Have been eating here since they first opened their doors in Glen Waverley. Some of the best pasta dishes to be eaten.... and wine to be drank. Staff are such a pleasure and always super friendly & attentive. Thank you always guys.

Tried this restaurant for the first time last night for a birthday dinner. Food and drinks were loved by all, catering to two different dietary requirements as well, and service was fast and friendly. Our waiter Riley was extremely kind and knowledgeable and delivered a birthday surprise dessert to our table. Loved the modern Italian decor too. Nothing to fault with plenty of parking on the street or rear/end of the shops. Glad this restaurant was suggested by the bday girl! And thanks Basilico!!

Absolutely AMAZING food, vibe and service.
Would highly recommend for Italian food, the serving sizes were perfect. Lots of toppings and high quality ingredients in the pizza and beef ragu.

Cosy restaurant, excellent food, and awesome service! We had the woodfire seafood pizza, which was amazing, and the homemade gnocchi bolognese, the best in town, along with some dessert.
All staff members are happy and polite and care about your experience there.
Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant. Try their gnocchi 🤗!!!!

Great Variety of food with heaps of vegetarian, vegan and meat meals, good range of drinks and starters, service is quick. Staff are freindly and the seating is spacious and comfortable. Food tastes amazing! Tables and chairs and clean and hygienic

By error we booked at the incorrect location. When we arrived they were nice enough to cater for our large group on a busy night.
