Preston Library

The Librarians are the nicest people I've ever met. I've been borrowing books every fortnight for my child for years. I accidentally lost a bunch of books and they were so kind and considerate in the way they approached it. I really love this library and am so grateful to everyone who works there.

Fantastic local library as part of the Darebin council. Exellent range of books from non-fiction to children's books. Their building has dated very well compared to other older libraries with accessible toilets, bike parking, bike repair tool, water tap and good seating and partking outside.

Great community atmosphere, well resourced and the staff are lovely people and very disability aware. This is a great inclusive space. I
also attend Toostmasters in the community room.

A cosy and quiet spot to work overlooking an outdoor courtyard.

The library was great in accommodating story time. My little one enjoyed it, only downside is we had to park up the road.

Really great space lots of different little zones to sit in and chill or whatever including outdoor courtyard. Everyone usually seems pretty relaxed all different types mixing together. Can get busy with people wanting to plug in their computer so no guarantee of a spot..
Also can get a bit noisy in some areas but that can add to the relaxed feel. Annoying having to use a library computer to get the day's internet password but that's a Darebin thing in general not a Preston Library issue. Staff put in an effort to keep everything running smoothly and enjoyable for all the different types using the space. Kids seem happy exploring things, there's some popular activities like the chess club.

Best library ever nice staff members always there to help to find book's and help sign up for the library cards and love's the game's there with the lounge chairs in the sections of the corner's and very quiet and peaceful to read book's for the whole hour with friends and family! :)

Nice place to read or study. Great that it is open till late during the week!
I also really liked the movies shown on Thursdays.

Preston Library in the City of Darebin is a part of their library system, which allows inter-library borrowing, so if I can't find something here, I can request it from another library. It's main resource is a significant genealogy section that is well-used.

Great service, very friendly helpful staff. Good selection of books in nice surroundings.

Lots of space, great library, heaps of materials, plus that bit of peace and quiet!

Excellent place to chill and collect your mind. The ambiance is great and everything is easy to use.

One of my favourite place around preston. Good if you want to concentrate on something or have a meeting.

Great resources, but I wish they had private study rooms
