Perfect place to study or do whatever you need to do in peace with space. Love the different area options. Small and big study rooms and couch areas. Pretty good parking options around too, if you’re careful

One of the best libraries around. There is a quiet area if you need absolute silence. There is a great selection of books and overall it serves the community brilliantly. It's very lively and staff are kind.I just wish there were more cultural events we could attend (talks, concerts etc.)

Great library. Very quiet until the school kids get there. Many areas to read / study. Very well resourced.

Lovely library in a convenient location. Whilst not the largest, this library shares the catalogs of Camberwell Library and Hawthorn library. This creates a significant pool of books for all ages. Clean and well maintained. There is limited parking, but the library is on the 109 tram route for those who do not want to drive. There is also some more parking behind the Shell Express service station across the road. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Just might become my favourite library! For someone who gets super anxious to study on campus this library was a great place to study. The study space fills up quick but everyone is really diligent and no one really talks. Parking is also really easy.

Good opening hours. Library parking. Quiet room. New books displayed. Lots of community information flyers. Always clean and tidy. Can return books via a book drop outside.

Great. The staff there are always very helpful.
And there is a great range of books in several languages. They can quickly even get books from other libraries. The checkout system for books is really simple and works well.

A beautiful building with great natural light and a good range of books. Also some nice places to study/work.

We went to Balwyn Library this morning and browsed for about 20 minutes. Such a wonderful spot for children to read and relax. We were then invited to join storytime with Simone. What a great librarian with an engaging personality and such wonderful patience. She had toddlers and babies crawling everywhere but she still continued on reading. Thank you Simone and Boroondara.

Airy bright architecture, good place to read and research

The staff at this library are delightful and very helpful. I am a recent user of the library and find the system allowing an online reservation of books, followed by an email to say they are ready for pickup and then easy pickup of all books conveniently stockpiled under my name on one shelf to just be absolutely FANTASTIC! My daughter's reading has exploded as a direct consequence...

One of my favourite libraries in the area, which has a good selection of books. Librarians are very friendly and helpful too.

The new redeveloped library is fantastic! The council have done a great job. It's much bigger now and the building is more open and less stuffy.

Friendly place with nice staff, lots of books and very quiet and peaceful, like all libraries should be.
