Had to go in here to get some spice. The lovely lady in the store was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Would recommend it for all your Indian grocery needs, plenty of parking nearby.

We ordered paavi poori and papadi chaat and they were awesome. Very neatly packed which is something to be appreciated. They take that extra care to pack carefully. The taste of their chaat items are very good and the best we have tasted in Melbourne.

One of the best Indian shops I have been to in Melbourne. Very well organised and structured with lots of space. Their products are fresh, reasonable price but very limited products. I understand they are growing and am sure there will be plenty of other products will be added on to their stacks. I would highly recommend this store for Indian products.

One of the best grocery store for Indian food around ringwood. The owners r very friendly, their prices r very reasonable and collection is good. Though it is small, but they seem to carry most of the things you may regularly need.

New Indian grocery store at an excellent location. They have all the necessities. The people are very warm and welcoming. They also provide home delivery in nearby areas. Definitely check it out.

I've been looking for a good Indian grocery store within a reasonable distance of Vermont, where I live.
And as time passed, was prepared to drop my requirements from "good" to "decent" or "adequate". I don't think of myself as being picky, but I did want a store that carries a stock that covers food from North AND South India. Not too over-priced. Etc.But I wanted one as near to me as possible.
Basically, I was dropping my standards, to get convenience of access and availability.
Intrigued by the 5.0 reviews for a shop that had not yet crossed my radar, I dropped into Om Sevvel today.
And was **completely** blown away. (/Fist-pump, /YES!!!)
Sure, it is smaller than some of the long established stores, like my long-standing benchmark, MKS.
But here's my subjective score:
Cleanliness/Tidiness: 10/10; Organization: 10/10; Stock: 10/10; Friendly service: 10/10
So here's the thing:
Smaller than many other Indian stores, the level of organization and the stock selection that has gone into this shop compensates superbly for its size.
The freezers and fridges are so well organized (with prices clearly marked) that the (seemingly small) size is deceptive. Running through all the products that I usually buy/browse, both staples AND my "special/occasional buys", there was hardly anything that I did not find.
Prices are well marked - and just as important, they are *very* competitive.
Being from the South of India, I look for some Southern staples, but I do enjoy (and cook) across all Indian cuisines. Full marks there. They have great representation of all Indian geographies - and Sri Lankan supplies as well.
Spotlessly clean floor and surroundings, handy parking right outside (that appears it will usually be available), complete the set.
Om Sevvel pushes all the right buttons for me.
Absolutely thrilled to find it, and the only reason I didn't go buy-crazy is that atm my fridge, freezer and pantry are full of stuff that needs throwing out.,
But when I do, I know where my first stop will be...
PS: If you are a non-South Asian looking for Indian supplies, trying your hand at Indian cooking, or similar. Or just of a Western proclivity: Do your shopping here. You'll find it an easy, friendly and great place to shop, and not culturally-overwhelming like many other Indian grocery shops.

Without a doubt the best Indian Store I have ever been to, they've got any and all the necessary products that I'm familiar with. If they don't have the item that I'm looking for, I can be rest assured that it'll be in-stock within a few days time.
Additionally, the owners' are this lovely couple who are absolutely humble, respectful and exhibit top-class servitude mannerisms. It's always a great pleasure to be able have a quick chat with them.

An excellent and amazing Indian store in Ringwood arena!!! They have all the essential things under one roof with competitive prices, well arranged and you can trust their quality too.Chaats are a must try (read pani puri) but the samosas are to die for. One of the best indian grocery shop. Everything has reasonable price. I can find all the things I need also if I cant I can ask geeta(owner) to get me. She is so friendly and helpful. She always manages to awe me. Her new added pani puri and dahi puri is another reason for me to be in grocery.

It's an amazing indian grocery store where you can find the products to be arranged neat and tidy and easily accessible . The owners Gita and Shyam are very friendly . Tasted Dahi Poori and Pani Poori, which were delicious and very neatly packed . Keep up the good job guys ..

Tried out this new indian store that has popped up in Ringwood.
Close to the train station and Eastland shopping centre.
The shop has a few parking slots in front, the staff/ proprietor are personable and eager to help.
You get Kisan milk here.

The location of this grocery store is very convenient as it's situated in the centre of RIngwood. I was also very impressed with the layout of this store with everything being meticulously organised.

Locate at excellent place, all products are good quality and at reasonable price. I usually buy products from this store. They also have best panipuri made with freshly ingredients and samosa..

I recently shopped at this store. They have modest range as they are not a large store but they stock most of the basics. I thought their prices were good and the customer service was friendly and polite. I don't live in the area but when I'm visiting I would be happy to shop there again.

Highly recommended with prices much better than any other indian shops around .
And they do have free delivery for few suburbs around ringwood and hastle free delivery . Ordering website is great as it preety much have everything you need.
Will be back again .

The shop is very well stocked and unlike many indian stores they do not keep anything that is close to expiry … Geetha’s customer service is excellent and goes out of her way to provide custom service for every client

I have been visiting this place for well over 5 months now on regular basis and the food on the go is to die for especially the pani poori it just takes you back home for minute at a time with each bite . They are very customer centric and friendly with all patrons . Keep up the good work Geeta and Shyam .
