Koko Black - Royal Arcade

We had a delightful dining experience at Koko Black in the Royal Arcade, Melbourne. Millie who served us, was incredibly attentive, well-mannered, and welcoming. The chocolates and hot chocolates served were not only delicious but also a testament to the exceptional quality offered. We look forward to coming again for another delightful visit!

I have been going to this beautiful place since they first opened. It has got dreadfully popular and busy. Today I went and was lucky to get a spot upstairs at my favorite spot next to Father Time. I was so impressed with the service I offered a tip, only to be told that, no, the staff are well paid, give it to a homeless person.
Thank you the staff at koko black, I know you guys had a difficult day but you made me and my grandson feel special today.

It gets busier these days, but Koko Black is always my go to place for a good ice chocolate or chilli hot chocolate. Coffee is not bad too, but defo go for the chocolate drinks. The only complaint I have is that they are getting more and more expensive.

I came to get myself a little treat, and as nice as the chocolate is, it was the staff who made this a real treat!! Even though they were very busy, Millie happily spent some time with me helping me to pick out the perfect chocolates!! Millie was bubbly, friendly, and super validating. I really enjoyed spending time with them!! Millie, you are a beautiful golden soul and you really made my day!! Thank you!!

The jungle hot chocolate was very well done, I could taste the lime and the smoke flavour, definitely a very classy Michelin-hat style item. The brownie was a bit dry, so I would highly recommend having the chocolate melt to pour over it before eating.
Service was quick and very friendly. Thanks for the great experience!

Excellent customer service by Jeremy. He recommended me some great gift choices for Christmas and was kind enough to offer some sample chocolates to taste. Couldn't resist, ended up buying few delious chocolates for the family.
Will definitely be back some more delicious chocolates!!!

American Tourist Fam: Ghirardelli has nothing on this place. Every time I come to Melbourne, I look for a KoKo Chocolates black to bring back home. I have not met one person who went "Oh this chocolate is ok". This chocolate is S-Tier kind of chocolate and you would be mistaken to pass up on stop by the fancier KoKo Blacks in the arcade. We got some chocolate and hot chocolate while we waited on our reservation at another place. I do commend the staff there. They were training a new staff member and I did enjoy the level of professionalism that was shown to the new member of their team.

Great chocolate brownie, very chocolaty. It was nice to eat it sitting in the royal arcade and the service was great.

Exceptional service by our waitress! She was polite, helped us make our drinks even bettee and very cheerful. The drinks were perfect for a hot day. Will be back for the chocolates.

I've been here twice just for their classic hot chocolate because it's just that good! Plus the staff are really friendly and nice

I usually go for their 80% dark chocolate blocks but their truffles and pralines are delicious as well! My personal favourite is the Milk Hazelnut Praline

A lovely place to stop and enjoy the gorgeous Royal Arcade which runs between the Bourke Street Mall and Little Collins Street. We sat upstairs in the Lounge which is cosy and comfortable and great for people watching if you sit near a window. Great service and delicious, reasonably priced food and drinks.

Wow! I am loving this choco store and would like to recommend the store to all my friends and family. I visited this store last week randomly and was amazed. They have very good chocolates which are very rich in taste. I bought a lot of chocolates from them and they even gave me a good discount. I am thankful to them and would love to visit again.

Met a friend here for afternoon tea. What an amazing array of food options. Had the waffles with dark chocolate and ice cream. My friend had the decadent cake. Great tea and coffee to wash them down

Definitely place to go for a cup of hot chocolate! Never had tasted chocolate that nice and rich. The chiffon cake was a little disappointing, the topping was too firm and the cake was a little dry.
