Daysy Hill Country Cottages

5 stars all the way. There are beautiful grounds with nice landscaping with the birds that are all about. The one bedroom, modern cottage include all you need for a very comfortable stay. Warmth from the gas fire log or the standard heater A heater in the bedroom, too, if you want more there. We stayed two nights, one in Daisy and one in Rose. Same layout and totally enjoyable, The hosts work hard to make your time pleasant and we highly recommend a stay should Port Campbell be where you will spend a night or more.

Whilst not in the heart of port Campbell it’s only a 2 min drive up the road from the main restaurants etc. these cottages were true country living! The perfect getaway from the city that we needed.
Rooms were clean and cozy, with views of the grounds and hills all around. We stayed in the spa suite and were on the top floor which gave such a nice view of everything. Check in was quick and easy, owner was friendly and was always busy running around taking care of the chickens and gardens etc. chickens will roam during the day so be sure to take care when driving in and out of the place. We decided to tap on another night (luckily we were able to lock it in this time of year and get another night away) the spa was lovely! And just what I needed to have a care free weekend away from the world. Thank you so much for having such a little slice of heaven and sharing it with the world 💜

Really lovely place well-equipped with utensils, stove and amenities. Check-in was easy, as staff resides within the area.

The cottage is nested within a serene enclave, and one could wake up to beautiful chirping from birds. A short drive away would get you to grocery store and restaurants, although nothing much to shoutout for, but it is more than enough to shop for basic necessities and fill the stomach.

Could not recommend this place more! Stayed one night in the wattle cottage and it truly felt like home. So much care has been put into making this place comfortable, and you really feel attention to detail and love whilst staying here. Everything was SO clean. The house was warm with heating, bed were comfy, bathroom had all the toiletries you need. The kitchen had everything you’d need to prepare a meal, oven, microwave, pots pans everything! The view was gorgeous and very serene. Truly could not find one thing to critique about this place, except that we wish we could stay for more nights. Location was also perfect only 12 minutes from the 12 apostels!

Charming and serene. When the description on the website says “rustic”, believe them. The cottage lacked certain modern amenities but ultimately they weren’t missed.
We were originally given the keys to the Rose cottage, but ultimately moved, for an additional fee, to the Wattle cottage. It was a good move. We enjoyed the larger space, better views, and increased sense of privacy.
While it was overcast and blustery while we were there, we still managed to sit on the porch for a bit and enjoy the sights of the nearby fields, listen to the birdsong and catch the aroma of rose and lavender.
We had minimal interaction with the owner, other than when we first checked in. Judging from reviews it feels as though we missed another lovely element of the experience.
If in the area, we would return. And that says a lot.

Great experience for a short stay in the country side. We could walk around the property to have a look at the farm animals.

The furnishing was rustic and warm.

The kitchen and utensils were available for us to cook up a storm for our meals.

There was a washing machine for laundry and a clothes line outside the cottage to hang dry clothes. You could also use the complimentary washer with dryer located at the Spa/Suites building but it is only available from 9am till 9pm daily.

Quiet nights were spent gazing at the stars which lit up the sky. Wonderful.

What a lovely place to stay - clean, cozy and comfortable! Amazing views would be a bonus. Staff are kind and great help. We definitely will visit again with other families and friends.

Lovely 3 days at cottage that had everything. Wonderful young couple running the cottages went out of their way to make our stay wonderful- supplied an extra mattress etc for us. Great washing machine & access to industrial drier- wonderful gas heater- even an earthquake for entertainment (🤣🤣). Will definitely return.

Not far from Port Campbell. Excellent service. The rooms are clean and have all amenities. Nice atmosphere with very friendly chickens and sheep. The animals walked beside me around the farm. It was a very good stay experience for me.

Daysy Hill Cottages are absolutely gorgeous, and the family that runs it equally as gorgeous! Amazingly friendly service and beautiful rooms. Great views, wonderful spaces, lovely wood fire, both inside and out.

Comfortable clean Acottages. Quaint setting in a rural area. Great place to stay along the great ocean road.

Stayed in Spa Suite Room, it is very clean. Definitely deserve a 5 stars review.

Andy is responsive to all my questions before my check in and during my late check in after reception is closed.

We had a beautifully appointed two bedroom cottage set in the wonderful flower gardens. Birds fluttered in the bushes outside the front door. Comfortable couch, four person dining table, toilet separate from shower and sink. Comfortable queen size bed in one room and a double bed in the other with a single bunk able to be pulled down if needed. Plenty of storage. We did our grocery shop in the big town before getting on the Great Ocean Road but if you need small items there is a Friendly Grocer in Port Campbell. The proximity to walk the main sights of the Great Ocean Road it's excellent. Base yourself here and enjoy! Would highly recommend this accomodation.

We stayed at Daisy Hill Country Cottages only for one night but would have stayed more!
Owners are extremely kind and helpful, we stayed in Spa Suites that are superb and warm, with great view from the big windows, warming fireplace and an hot tub to relax in the evening! Wonderful and relaxing room!! Would be back there for sure!

Wheelchair accessible. However, I recommend ringing Daysy Hill before you visit as it would depend on your needs.

I booked my stay at their spa suite and it was very comfortable. The country style accommodation was very charming too. Fully enjoyed the hot spa jacuzzi inside the bathroom. Would recommend anyone who wished to visit Port Campbell to consider booking with Daysy Hill Country Cottages.

Lovely clean modern cabins with a homely feel and very pet friendly. Even had info on where can and cant take dogs in the local area. Loved walking around the property to see the farm animals and beautiful gardens. Cabin was really well equipped with essentials. Obviously a lot of care has been taken to provide a pleasant stay for their guests. Highly recommended.

We phoned late Sunday arvo and the owners invited us to view to help us decide if we wanted to book for the night. Showed us around and then we instantly decided to stay. Wow, absolutely beautiful manicured gardens, beautiful family and literally a 2min drive out of the main town, incredibly comfortable cottages. We are in a spa suite, with fireplace and beautiful countryside outlook. I’m so happy I’m leaving a review and we’ve only just checked in. Very relaxing, so pleased with our choice. Clean, well equipped, great location and just fantastic in every way

Stayed in Rose Cottage for only one night but it was such a beautiful experience we hope to return one day. Magnificent place with awesome amenities fully self contained atmospheric gas fire in lounge area and pet friendly.

Daysy Hill Country Cottages we’re great for our family of 5. The cottages were picturesque, quiet and sit on beautifully managed grounds. The staff were friendly and take amazing care of their property. We enjoyed the direct access to the Great Ocean Road and the Artisan Food Trail. Port Campbell offered all our groceries and dining needs. We spent our time at Daysy Hill enjoying the bbq and fire pit facilities and then settling the kids in downstairs while we sat and enjoyed a local wine in front of the fireplace in the cabins living area. The kids loved being so close to the animals across the site. The cottages were well heated in each room and had views of the surrounding countryside. We look forward to a return trip.
