Loch Ard Motor Inn

If you want a relaxed night or two to either begin or end a Great Ocean Road drive, then the Loch Ard Motor Inn is perfect. I've stayed at my fair share of motel-style accommodation and this is as good as it gets.

right in Lord St, the centre of Port Campbell. brilliant little motel. I think we had the best room up at the top, with a great sea view. The room was very clean and well-appointed. kettle/microwave/fridge/freezer.. and a little balcony. recommended.

Loved the service where you just check-in straight away, our key was just at the door and the view from the room was amazing. The receptionist was friendly and everything is just walking distance.

What a fantastic location, overlooking Port Campbell beach. The room had a beach front view and veranda.
While sitting enjoying an afternoon drink we had a rabbit run across the lawn in front of us.
The room and bathroom was fresh and very clean, including comfortable beds. Great value and fantastic views 😊

Booked an overnight stay at Loch Ard Motor Inn on our 2 day Great Ocean Road adventure. The rooms were very clean, bed comfortable, and all the amenities we required for our overnight stay. Will happily stay there again.

Perfect spot to stop on Great Ocean Drive 2 day tour. The hotel is clean, beds comfortable and a good view of the Port Campbell inlet from rooms 7 and 8. Must eat at Port Campbell Hotel which was also excellent.

My wife and I stayed here recently while exploring the coastline, and it was brilliant. By far the easiest accommodation experience I've ever had!
I booked online via their website, and when we arrived popped my head into reception and met Troy who gave me a heads up on some good food nearby, told me my key was in the door, and that was it. So simple and straightforward, which I appreciate so much.
Lovely spot looking down to the beach, good hot water system (it was cold!), nicely decorated and furnished room with comfortable bed, tea and coffee etc - absolutely everything we needed.
Hope to visit again sometime and will stay here without a second thought.

The motel is not only great value for money, but has excellent views out to the bay and is situated opposite a very cosy cafe restaurant. The room is very clean and tidy and the reception was first class. Can not say anything critical about our experience. Glad we stayed here!

Fantastic place to stay. We arrived late, just as the chap on the desk was leaving for the night and he couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would come back!

Perfect location! The rooms open towards the Port Campbell foreshore and there are lots of restaurants outside. The rooms were very well kept and the arrangements for late check-in were so smooth. Absolutely loved the experience.

Awesome place to stay. We had one of the very front rooms that looked out to water- beautiful spot to sit in afternoon. Short drive to 12 Apostles in morning (beat the crowds). Easy check in directly through reception. Clean room with everything we needed- toaster/kettle/fridge. In the main street of town for easy access to shops, pub etc. would recommend!

Stayed 4 nights over new years in an ocean view premier suite. The view was spectacular and the location perfect for easy walking access to all port Campbell has to offer. Troy is very welcoming and attentive. Looking forward to visiting again.

It’s one of the best accommodation options available in the small town of Port Campbell, and located 15mins drive away from Twelve Apostles. Average nightly accommodation range from $80-$200, which is really reasonable. Rooms are cosy and spacious. Choose the room nearest to the main road, you could hear splendid ocean waves hitting the beach at night. 12 Rocks Cafe and Beach Bar right opposite serves really good food too!

Perfect location room 7 has sea views. The cleanest room I have had in years. Lots of great food places across the road. Recommended. Also has it's one parking. Very quiet at night.

Stayed one night and had a pleasant stay. Really convenient location (Friendly Grocery across the road, beach is across the corner), room is big and clean, has the expected amenities. Saw a lot of rabbits chilling in the afternoon. Great spot

Magnificently serviced Motel perfect as a base to drive to all the attractions of the Great Ocean road . Manager Troy & his staff could not do enough for you . Rooms super clean , great views & a town with super old fashioned views & great service. The local pub , supermarket, Sow & Piglet brewery, Waves Restaurant & 12 Rocks Cafe were gems when looking for a great , restful getaway . Thankyou Port Campbell.

We’re away for two weeks in four different towns. The bed at loch ard was by far the most comfortable of all. The room was clean and had everything we needed. But the standout was the genuinely friendly service. The staff helped us with local tips and came to bring us fresh towels with a smile. The location was perfect. 50 meters from everything the gorgeous Port Campbell has to offer 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
