My partner and I did the Cradle Mountain Day Tour with tour guide Aaron. The tour was wonderful from start to finish. Aaron picked us up promptly and took us to a few nice spots before reaching Cradle Mountain. The weather was perfect with only a little drizzle of rain. The food and drinks provided kept us full and warm in the chilly weather. Our last stop was at Ashgrove which was a nice end to the trip with the cheese and icecream we tried. Thank you Aaron for your hospitality and knowledge of Launceston! Highly recommended this tour.

We booked transportation from Launceston to Cradle Mt and Cradle mt back to Launceston with McDermott. Both Ben and Gary are very skillful, friendly and supportive. We feel very safe and are taken good care of. Their knowledge about Tassie is much respected. Want to leave a kudo for both Ben and Gary for a very good job! (ps don’t be late with Ben :)) )

On Monday I did the mystery tour with McDermotts and it was a most enjoyable day . It truly was a mystery day with us all guessing as to where we were going I don’t think any one got it right .first stop was Selbourne to the farm where the tomato and garlic festival is held every year . We had morning tea and an interesting talk on the workings of the farm by amazing hard working couple who own it . Then on to a delicious roast lunch with apple crumble to follow at Railton Hotel . From there we headed to Devonport it enjoy a coffee at the Leaping Goat Coffee cafe . Before heading back to Launceston and home to put our feet up a weary, but extremely enjoyable days outing . Thank you McDermotts another very satisfied member of your day tours .

Being a first time traveler to Tasmania you have to trust local companies and what can I say that our driver Ben was a outstanding book of knowledge with a wealth of knowledge and made our trip so special so I would highly recommend him and McDermotts coaches

Will was the most incredible tour guide. I enjoyed his passion and enthusiasm for sharing this love of Cradle Mountain. He shared the most interesting facts about Tasmania’s history and the local surroundings. We were treated to a delicious lunch overlooking the most picturesque surroundings. The icing on the cake was Will’s eye for capturing the best photographs. Thanks for giving me memories that I will treasure forever.

Really enjoyed our day trip to Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake- our guide, Ben, was amazing! He’s so knowledgeable and made the trip so enjoyable with all his facts! Highly recommend this tour!

We booked McDermott's for the way back from Cradle Mountain to Launceston. Unfortunately we had to leave 2 days earlier. Without any additional costs McDermott's immediately booked us on an earlier bus.
