If you’re looking for a hair and makeup artist and nervous about who to pick, look no further. I stumbled on Jane while hunting for a hair and makeup artist for my wedding, and I’m so glad I did. Why? Jane is incredibly professional, smart, easy to work with, and (even though I’d rarely had my hair and makeup done and wasn’t sure how to brief her) absolutely nailed what I wanted. Just as importantly, she puts her brides first, is great to chat to, responsive and so much fun.

At first I’d just engaged Jane to do my makeup as I had another option lined up for hair, but after doing my trial with her, I wanted her to do my hair too because I knew she’d do an amazing job, and she absolutely did. On my wedding day, I had a relaxing and laugh-filled morning, and throughout my day, I truly felt like a princess. Jane is a huge part of all of that. Highly recommend.

I had Jane do my hair and make up for my wedding. She was very professional and prompt in her communication, asking lots of questions and allowing me space to explain the wedding look I was after.

Most importantly, it all looked perfect! Both the hair and make up was exactly what I had imagined. Plus, it all lasted 12hrs with no issues.

Another highlight of the experience was her calm and warm presence; 3hrs getting pampered by Jane was a lovely way to start a very special day. I can’t wait for an excuse to hire her again!

Jane is an incredibly talented artist who was an absolute dream to have around for the wedding preparation. I generally don't wear makeup in my professional role and was concerned that I would look like a different person on my wedding day. The hair and makeup trial was so helpful and played a big role in helping me feel beautiful and excited amidst the busyness in the lead up to the wedding.

Jane was such a calm presence throughout the morning of the wedding but especially as departure neared and things felt a bit tense. She even went above and beyond to stay a bit later than planned; she didn't have to but she did and I'm so appreciative of that. I truly felt like she was there just for me - which I know is how it should be - but I'm sure it's not always the case with other hair and makeup artists.

Jane is a wonderful makeup artist, she did my makeup for my wedding back in 2016 and we’ve kept in touch after all these years. She has gone on to do many of my friend’s weddings which I’ve referred to her and everyone has raved about her services. Next up she’s doing my sister’s wedding in April next year. She is professional, calm under pressure and just a lovely supplier to work with. Probably my favourite supplier in my wedding. You won’t be disappointed when booking Jane!

She takes the time to understand what you're looking for and provides both skincare and haircare recommendations in the lead-up to a big event like your wedding. My first impression of Jane was one of absolute professionalism. She really listened to what I was looking for as a bride and made me feel so beautiful without making me look like a completely different person (something I've previously experienced!). I felt glamorous but at the same time felt comfortable in my skin which was important to me given I don't typically wear much make-up.
