Yoon's Kitchen Blackburn

Traditional Korean food that was delicious with flavorful side dishes. The portions were huge and the cutlet was incredibly crispy. The service was also excellent.

A great experience on take away order. Our food was in good packaging. I was surprised that the side dishes being packed together with the main dish in a professional manner.
The place is small but cozy. A bit hard to park but the service and food pay it back.
Definitely will come back to dine in.

Very recommend this Korean restaurant. I came several times. They have weekdays’ lunch sets now which are so good value. And the taste of the soups are so so good haha

A very busy little korean kitchen bustling with locals who know a good spot for authentic dishes that are bursting with flavour and heat. I would recommend booking if you want to eat here for dinner as seats were continually filled up throughout our time there.

Great Korean place, kimchi pork and silken tofu soups are our favourites.

Been there couple times. Authentic K food. Tasty with proper portion. Friendly staff Who kept checking on our needs.
Kimchi Pancake, k-sausage & ricecakes, the spicy intestine and tripe hotpot was so tasty. One of my favorite K food place.

Had takeaway fried chicken before which was great and decided to come in for dinner.

Got here about 6pm and it wasn’t too busy. Had a homely feel to the place. Selection of food was good and food came about 10-15mins after ordering. We ordered:

Mini kimchi pan cake - light and crispy but full of flavour 5/5

Kimchi stew with pork - thick broth with great umami from the kimchi. Wish there was a little more kimchi! 4.5/5

Snow cheese fried chicken - tasty crispy fried chicken with finely grated cheese that was slightly sweet. 4.5/5

Beef bugolgi japchae - full of flavour without the bulgogi overpowering the japchae. 4.5/5

Overall a great dinner and will definitely be back! Only managed to take two photos as we got too busy eating!

This is my favourite place if you are looking for authentic Korean beef bone soup. 😋 I'm definitely going back.

This restaurant gives you authentic korean foods in decent price. The food tastes yum! Service super quick and friendly staffs. Very recommended! They deserve a five stars.

The soup is always my favourite. I tried a dish new for me which was the pork tontaksu, I didn't know pork could be so tender. The atmosphere is great as well. It's cosy and full of energy but not overly loud.

Spicy beef bone soup (얼큰 설렁탕) & don Katsu were SO good!! Best we’ve had in Melbourne by far. It’s a little bit of a drive from home but we will definitely come back for more!

A small Korean restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience! The food & side dishes are delicious.

It's as local as it can gets. I've been to Korea many times and from the lay out to the table set up to the utensil that they use really remind me of the travelling time in Korea. Maybe it's just me missing overseas travel too much. They don't serve an extensive menu, but they have some of the authentic Korean food that you won't get in an over price K-BBQ restaurant. I enjoyed the stew, the cold dish, the fried chicken and the atmosphere. They don't take bookings as they easily have enough customers waiting out the door. But I mean you can always ring up and try if you have a large group. I think they have 50 seats at the most. But it's so great to see all clients are enjoying their foods. Overall I would recommend Yoon's Kitchen for both lunch and dinner.

Their side-dish cabbage kimchi (geotjeori) tasted super authentic to the one served in Korea Probably even tastier. Highly recommend this place to those who would love to try Korean dishes

My wife and I had a lunch today, it was so yummy especially, fried chicken was exceptionally great. Then we had ordered another fried chicken for take away for our kids. Kids are so happy with the food. Thank you Yoon's Kitchen.

I came to Yoons Kitchen to eat dinner with my friends and the experience was great!
I was glad that they could accommodate such a big group (9 people) and still have great customer service!
The food we ordered were amazing, especially the lemon cheese boneless chicken. I havent seen anything near as creative anywhere else!
I am definitely recommending this place to all my friends and family and i myself would certainly go there for the foreseeable future

If you like Korean food, Yoon’s Kitchen is the must-try! I’ve only been to the one in Blackburn and never get disappointed.
