Charlton Caravan Park Travellers Rest

RV space at the back of the park allows plenty of space, shaded, water available, self-contained fires.
Is on the goods rail line, but not a real issue.

Spent one night here. Spotlessly clean ensuite rooms. Very spacious. Very roomy showers, plenty of hot water.Thoughtful little extras included hand soap dispenser, air freshener, extra light above the mirror small container of lavender, stool. BUT best of all decent toilet paper. Thank you, we will be back.

What a wonderful little park.
Exceptionally clean. Very quiet. Very close to town & a stones throw to the Avoca River, pool & kids park.
The couple that manage the park, apologizes for not remembering their names, are just delightful.
We booked an en-suite site & were over the moon that we could drive up right alongside it. No backing up the caravan!
Couldn’t ask for much more!!

We had great stay here. If you dig there is more to do than you think. Best food comes out of the caltex believe it or not, they put on a great feed. and the pubs were fantastic to with food. I'm sure the other cafes would of been good to but we didn't get time to try them all. A good base to explore alot of towns and history around you.

I highly recommend this caravan park. Leigh-Anne provided exceptional customer service. We had one of the en-suite powered sites near the office. Very clean with a grassed section where w out our swags. Walking distance to the CBD and swimming pool. Beautiful location.

Great little permanent onsite van for hire for a break to explore Charlton and surrounds.looks good on the back of our car!! Clean tidy. Fully equipped all you need is food and wine ! Great ensuite with the best shower.. A lovely welcome and instructions in how things run in the van. Highly recommended .

Fantastic place to stay! Facilities are clean, functional and of a high standard. Park to play for kids, places to ride bikes and beautiful walking paths along the river. Very close to town, it was fabulous being able to walk out the park and land at the local pub which was a delicious feed with friendly hospitality. We will definitely be back, next time with the tiney!
The management at the park were absolutely fantastic, very friendly and go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Simple and clean establishment makes for a nice stay. Very friendly staff make the booking process easy. Quiet little town with good facilities and exploring.

A lovely place for an overnight night stop. Right by the river, with nice grassed , large sites. Various sites available from the basic, water only to Ensuite sites. Value and safety for overnighter.

The place is small but nice and clean. Pretty close to the bakery and public toilet which is a plus.

Fantastic little spot (I stayed at the non ensuited park. There are two, either side of the river connected by a small walk across a walk bridge. One park has ensuites the other, just powered & non powered sites. Run by the local community - same office). Very cheap @ $25. Quaint Camp Kitchen with all necessary facilities, an open fire, BBQ, flat screen tv & comfy couches. Even logs for the fire provided. Shower block spotless & lovely hot showers. Grassed sites. Loved it :)

We spent 5 great nights here. Beautiful, very tidy, and gorgous gardens. Owners are so friendly and helpful.
The park is animal friendly.
We had an en suite site. Very large, clean and fresh with our own patch of grass which misty loved(meow).
Lots to see and do in Charlton. Best ever counter meals at the ECH just around the corner.

Great place for a stop. Nice view of the river and covered table and seating area.

Lovely spot for a camp if self contained.
$10 for 3 nights. Will be back, a great town half way to Mildura for me.

Great spot to stop. I asked for a grassy site for a swag and got nice site next to camp kitchen. Everything is in top order. The caravan park has two sections on either side of river. Charlton pool is added bonus, it's free and is right there next to bridge.

We have travelled a far bit and stumbled upon this gem. Lovely drive through stop with spotless ensuite. BBQ area, bocce, lovely pub next store. Highly recommend a great place to stop and explore.

Fantastic site and incredibly helpful and nice people. We had to cancel after just an hour due to me catching Covid. We decided to make the long trip home and I was amazed to receive a message checking that we got home safely. This is an example to us all on how to deliver customer service. xxx
