Design My Hat

Just wanted to say thanks Marde and to your team for our trucker hats and design. Love it and so do my customers.
The quality and fit are great and everyone I have given them to have been stoked to receive a hat and have made comment on how great they feel.
Will definitely be getting more and can not recommend you highly enough. The whole process was so simple and easy, thanks again!

The caps themselves are fine, no problem there.
Customer service, however, was absolutely horrendous from the owner.
Perhaps he's had enough, as I now see on the website that the business is for sale.
It was however no excuse for the appalling treatment I was given in the process of arranging final delivery of our charity caps.
Until this point, his assistant Jo had been helpful and polite.
Marde himself, not so much.
But I wasn't too worried about that, because everyone has a bad day..
I did think it was ironic though - because the very first thing Marde himself told me during our first initial phone call that he was ''the very best in all of Australia''...
However in the later stages of the process when I had questions or had to chase up our delivery because our entire shipment went missing in action - I was treated with rudeness and absolute contempt.
As a charity who had just outlaid almost $4000 I was naturally deeply worried about this missing box of caps.
There was miscommunication somewhere along the line, and eventually I sorted it out despite no attempts at assistance by DMH - and the end result was Marde telling me bluntly that they'd been signed for by me. Which literally never happened.
Where the fault for all this lies, who knows - but for a business owner to take the attitude of 'not my problem - it's out of our hands' was just appalling to me.
So - to be frank I don't care if these ARE the best caps in all the land. I will never again deal with Design my Hat while this man is in charge.
Customer service is everything, and to be made to feel like an inconvenience and just tossed aside when a few hurdles popped up is not good enough where I come from.
Therefore would not recommend.
