We had a great meal here. Every dish was so fragrant and delicious. By far the best Butter Chicken we have ever had! There is a great wine list and the staff were friendly and efficient. Very casual outdoor dining experience. We will definitely return next time we visit Noosa.

Came here as it looked empty and could not get into anywhere else for dinner on a Saturday night without a booking. Did not expect much but was blown away by the food. Everything was fresh and highly flavoursome without being oily. Would return in a heartbeat.

I’m furious at myself…for why I did not discover this place the night before, and why the hell I spent money, good chunk of coins, on average-at-best food last night at some larger diner on the same street.

I ordered: papadums with three dips, garlic naan, saffron basmati rice to go with Lamb Rohan curry.

Every single dish is good, and you’d definitely feel the dish served is exceeding its price-tag. I don’t normally say this coz I’m a cheap man, but this place gave me the feeling of I got a bargain AND a fanatic dinner.

Highly recommended if you crave some late night curry for your drinking sessions.

Didn’t know what we wanted to eat but couldn’t go past the yummy smells coming from here. Absolutely delicious food, we were blown away and so happy we found this place!! Owner and staff were so lovely and even made a custom meal for our 10 month old which we were so grateful for. Highly recommend eating here, some of the best Indian we have had.

What Superb food we ate this evening. All dishes were extremely tasty, mildly spiced and freshly cooked. The Butter Chicken was Amazing! Service was friendly and quick. You can really tell when food is ‘cooked from the heart’. Wonderful people and wonderful ambience. My husband said the Onion Bhajis were the best he had ever had!

After discovering my favorite Indian curry in Bali, I knew I could ask the sweet eyes of the lady owner to make it again, even if it wasn't on their menu.
Mutton Kalimirch, Kaali version, made time stop and while I concentrated to make every second in my mouth feel like an eternity, the fresh curry leaves, spices and combination of flavors will forever make me wonder what were their other recipes like.
My husbands prawns were also cooked to such perfection, the pillow of rice and clouds of naam bread felt like paradise.

A place to never forget, and wish the world wasn't such a big place so we could relive that smile and happiness in a plate.
We will return, and hope soon!

Thanks to Mrs and mr chef Nitin and their team!

After a very long trip from Brazil, Singapore, Bali and Australia..here was our best and most favorite Indian restaurant.

Fantastic, beautifully fitted out modern Indian restaurant. The food flavour and aroma was incredible! Plenty of whole cashews in the korma, the nasn was extra large, worth every cent :)

Not noisy which was a really nice relief from most of the restaurants along Hastings Street where we struggled to have a proper conversation.

Kid friendly also.

Absolutely delicious meal. We're visiting from Canada and thought the best Indian food was back in Ottawa (i.e., Coconut Lagoon). However, tonight's meal was among if not the best Indian food I've eaten. The lamb, chicken and beef dishes we had were outstanding. Thank you!

Such a great evening out. Proper old-school hospitality on display. Friday night and every walk-in (including us five) were found a table around the reserved tables.
Delicious curry and the best naan straight from their tandoor oven. We requested to swap the barramundi out for prawns in the goan fish curry and hosts were accomodating, it had wonderful spice. The lamb dhansak was another highlight. And the tomato kasundi as part of the dips & papadums was smoky, fragrant and perfectly spicy together. (Photo supplied of empty bowls, sorry… all too good.)
Located at the far end of Hastings Street.

Hands down the best Indian we’ve tried! First time visiting, and will be back! We had the prawn balti, jalfrezzi, cheese naan, garlic naan, coconut rice and saffron rice! It was all absolutely delicious, especially the Balti. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was also enjoyable. If you enjoy spice, this place caters well! Can’t wait to be back and try something else soon!

Some of the best Indian food in Australia. Had the saag paneer and tadka daal with naan and steamed rice. The naan was spot- on. Couldn’t be any better.
A great location as well - Hastings street.

What a fabulous Indian restaurant.

For our last night in Noosa we fancied a curry. A proper curry. Yup, we are originally from England.

Kaali hit all the notes. And then some. The onion bhaji were amongst some of the best we have had in Australia. We have had a lot. The lamb Rogan Josh was delicious, as was the chicken tikka masala.

The Shiraz is an undervalued gem and oh, there is Kingfisher on tap.

Happy days.

Great service by Anjali..
Must try Egg plant pasanda, prawn tempura, dal bukhara.

Exceptional drink menu... Must try Virgin Mojito, and esspresso martini.

Great and authentic preparation customised to our palates.

Many thanks Arati and Nitin. True worshippers of Kaali. Best wishes.

Why isn’t this the busiest restaurant in the area? Beautiful atmosphere and the best Indian food I have eaten bar none. Each dish was complex, delicate, spicy and unique. The naan was large buttery and fresh, the Goan fish curry was tangy and delicate, the tikka masala delicious. Better than anything in Melbourne.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Awesome food - flavourful without an overdose of chillies. Three vegetable curries with distinct flavour profiles. Warm welcoming atmosphere with seating in a cozy outdoor gazebo with heating. Excellent service and a welcoming feel from the couple who owns the restaurant. A must visit while in Noosa - conveniently located on the main Hastings Street stretch.

Great little gem at the end of Hastings street. The owners are welcoming and helpful in suggesting menu items.

We were here in a large group and had the opportunity to taste most of the dishes on their menu. My favourites were the mango lassi, chicken tikka masala and the tandoori chicken.

Special mention goes out to the garlic naan and the butter chicken - the gravy for butter chicken was really really good. They use cashew base for it, so it had a beautiful creamy texture and nutty taste to it.

We got our food a bit late - it could have been because of our large group, but at least they themselves offered to bring the kid’s food early and they did. Otherwise, the service was attentive and albeit being busy, the staff were friendly and responsive.

We also ordered a couple of mocktails which I felt were not put together properly. May be it’s not the best spot for drinking cocktails, however they seemed to be pumping out the regular scotch and other spirits quite frequently for other customers.

Overall, we had a good experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Noosa.
