HAPPY MOUNTAIN

I attend the Thursday morning yin class with Geraldine​​. The preparation Gerri puts into these sessions is tangible. The exquisite recorded music is artfully edited together and enhances the experience. Gerri explains gently, quietly, thoughtfully information she has researched specific to each class. We learn about the specific internal organs, related chakras and connected emotions. Her instruction is gentle, compassionate and considered. And to top it all off, she picks up her guitar and sings a beautiful handcrafted song during the shavasana! What a gift! I leave every week recalibrated and grounded. I guard this precious time every week, working my schedule around it and can’t recommend highly enough.

Geraldine (main teacher) is a very beautiful and kind soul… one of those rare people you come across… her yoga classes are challenging and invigorating (the flow class) and also deeply nourishing, rejuvenating and relaxing.. (the yin class) ... Geraldine incorporates elements of Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Pilates into a fluid yoga class (Flow class) and weaves wisdom and teachings from other wise souls/spiritual teachers/authors into the classes… A lot of presence, thought, heart and soul goes into her classes and I feel it brings me home to my breath, into my body and how I’m feeling in the moment. I highly recommend coming and trying a class, I’m sure you will find something to suit your needs.

This oasis of peace is soul-renewing! Gerri's meditative and unique yoga classes surpass other yoga I have experienced. Be prepared to enter a temple of healing and come out feeling relaxed, invigorated and alive!

I've gone to Happy Mountain for many years and love the style of yoga there. The use of music in combination with interesting yoga sequences really does leave you feeling awesome.
