Great pub, exactly what is needed in the area. There are great option for a pub feed, prices are reasonable and the food is fresh.

Great little play area with heaps of seating for parents to sit and eat and chat while the kids play.

Live bands every Saturday from 8:30pm.

We stopped for lunch at the Central Hotel Stroud on the weekend. It was the first time we had been to the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean, with a lovely outdoor area with a large screen TV, and the children's playground was right next door to it, so parents could watch their children. The food was delicious, lovely and fresh and well cooked. It was served in a short time. Nice place to relax and we recommend anyone passing through Stroud to pop in there. We would definitely go back when we are in the area again.

This is defenetly the most enjoyable experience at a small country pub that I have ever had in a very long time. The bar staff very friendly and a delight to talk to. Their meals are amazing and very well priced. Highly recommend their $15 burger deals on every Thursday day.

Great all round experience, huge outdoor television, pool tables, restaurant and a out door play area couples with a huge covered beer garden makes it ideal for families and group events.

Revisit: staff were very friendly and accommodating, the Cesar salad I had for lunch whilst waiting for the pool competition to start on Sunday afternoon was very affordable and to a high standard, the atmosphere at the pool competition was very friendly and laidback.

Can definitely say I will be back for many more Sunday afternoon kickbacks at this place.

My god the food is amazing, worth the stop, or the drive out there just for a feed. Dog friendly out in the large beer garden. Friendly country feel, again food is amazing 🤤

Excellent stop for lunch. Had the chicken burgers which were perfect. The included chips were Crips and soft inside. The brought it out to the table after you ordered. Staff at the counter was cheerful and helpful

Great food, great service and great range of drinks behind the bar. The Renos the team are doing to improve the beer garden, bar and VIP room are making a difference to the experience already - really love it here. Great live music on Saturdays as well :)

I really enjoyed my recent stopover at the Stroud Central Hotel! Atmospheric, family-friendly and historically interesting old pub that is neither neglected nor over-restored like most places are. Clean and comfortable rooms, generously-proportioned meals and the beer was excellent - I think you can actually tell by the taste that they maintain their equipment better than just about anywhere else. And all remarkably good value. Would make a great place to stay for a few days and explore the area so I'll look forward to coming back, with the crew next time!

They were kind enough to allow me to use their wifi to set up my telstra sim. I'm very grateful and they are more then worthy of 5 stars. If it wasn't so early I would stop for a beer and a burger they look great.

Great manager and bistro staff, good selection of Pub food with food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Beautiful hamburgers, nice portion sizes and value for money.

Beer garden area quite large, well appointed, clean and tidy.
