Lovely cafe in the heart of Stroud. The service was lovely and friendly and there are lots of seating options (inside and outside). We stopped for lunch and enjoyed the beautiful garden setting. The menu is extensive and next time we plan to share coffee and cake.

This place is just beautiful! Food was so good that we ordered seconds, coffee was perfect, they are dog friendly and the atmosphere both indoors and out in the garden is stunning and the gift shop inside was stocked full of so many fun gifts we couldn’t help but grab a few funky pairs of socks 😍 The service was also really great, we will be returning from Sydney just to visit this place again in the future!

Lovely quaint little cafe in Stroud. Beautiful outdoor seating - lovely on a cool Autumn Day. Crepes were delicious and a decent coffee too.

Heard the cafe advertised on our local Nelson Bay community radio station a few months ago, and finally made it for brunch today. Wish we'd made the trip ages ago. Such a lovely cafe with several different "rooms" according to your mood - and it's also dog friendly. We chose an outdoor table in the garden. I finally settled on the French Toast with bacon & maple syrup - DELICIOUS, and my husband chose poached eggs & bacon. The eggs were perfectly poached. We also had fresh orange juice and coffee. The coffee alone made the (very easy) 80 km drive worthwhile. Judy and her staff were very pleasant and friendly. We felt more like we were in their home than making our first visit to the cafe. The range of items on sale is extensive - the fragrant candles were particularly nice. If you're looking for a gift from newborn to granny, they've got it!

This cafe is really cute and charming. Inside there is a novelty gift shop which I had visited twice on my travels to Armidale and back to Sydney. I had bought a few great items, got a coffee to go too. Met the lady who runs the novelty angle it was a real pleasure to meet such a lovely humble woman. If you ever go through the town Stroud, stop at this cute shop..check out the novelty gift section & grab yourself a coffee with a treat to go. Such lovely ladies to speak to with giving a warm and gracious smile along with their wonderful service. Definitely sharing this with my closest friends and family. Hopefully, I get to visit there again!!

We love the Crepe Myrtle Tea & Coffee Rooms. So much love has gone into creating this business and you can tell. Immaculately presented to provide a beautiful setting, both inside & out, it's a pleasure to be there and relax with friends and family. The coffee and food are carefully selected, made and served. Delicious! Plus there are quality gift items to purchase which are not your everyday items. Beautiful and Highly Recommended. I have a local business and use the Crepe Myrtle Tea & Coffee rooms as my meeting place with staff and clients.

Delightful visit to this cafe for morning tea, many customers enjoying air conditioning inside and others like us outside on large tables under umbrellas. Browsed the great gift shop after placing our order which arrived in quick time and beautifully presented. We will return!!

Stopped here for lunch on our way to a campsite in Barrington tops. Cute little cafe with a variety of things to chose from on the menu. While you wait for your food you can check out their awesome giftware (candles, reusable travel mugs, gardening gifts). We got the pesto pizza which was yum! Their toilets are also immaculate :)

Named after the eponymous bright flower, The Crepe Myrtle Cafe is located in the pretty hamlet of Stroud on the Bucketts Way. Stroud was a company town founded by the Australian Agricultural Company in the 1820s. We were off to Barrington Tops and we stopped at this place on the way and coming back from the Tops.

This cafe has a very PINKISH character located in a former weatherboard home; it also had airconditioning which made it a respite from the unseasonal humid March heat. Best of all, it had HOME-MADE food. While some country cafes have tarnished reputations of offering deep-fried or microwaved meals, this cafe was the opposite. The pies were chunky with a moreish buttery pastry served with a side of their homemade tomato relish instead of the commercial tomato sauce found everywhere. Their signature dish of crepes were unctuous and yummy. Their coffees and milkshakes were made with city tastes and expectations in mind.

This cafe is country food at its best and well worth a lunch stop with its bright decor and even tastier food.

We visited the Crepe Myrtle twice this week and on both occasions the staff went above and beyond to look after us. The cottage and gardens are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed their delicious coffee and food.
