Island Rock rocks! Beautiful view at the lookout. However beware of strong winds. Drive slowly as there are many kangoroos crossing the roads. Recommended as a pitt stop before going to Kalbarri.

Absolutely stunning views of the cliffs and ocean. There’s a nice walk you can follow too to reach different view points. Would love to return.

If there weather is perfect this lookout is BEAUTIFUL! When you realise that you’re at the edge of Australia and the Indian Ocean it really is incredible. Plenty of spots to stop on the trail to rest and take photos, ample parking for those in vehicles, public toilets nearby. The whole place is been well looked after by the local shire.

Island Rock is a must see if visiting Kalbarri. I went here in the afternoon and it was spectacular. I would liken it to Cinque Terre, but with better beaches!

Very nice view. In my opinion the best one of the lot near Kalbarri.

One of the popular stops in Kalbari. Island rock is part of the cliff that is seperated from the main cliff due to erosion. Much like the 12 apostles along the great ocean road. Better viewed from the castle cove view point than the actual island rock view point. So if you are short on time, better head off to the natural bridge lookout point and castle cove is on the way

This is my favourite place to visit in WA. It’s so beautiful you won’t regret driving 6 hours from Perth to here. You can actually see some whales here if you wait long enough. Originally went to the pink lake and wasn’t so pleased with it so we decided to go here next which is just 30 minutes away from Hutt Lagoon and it’s simply breathtaking. Do remember to download offline maps as there won’t be any signal on the way.

If you are on the way to Kalbarri, you must to visit the Island Rock. The place can show you the impression of nature. You can see the natural architectural work that no any manmade buildings can compare.

We looked at the Island rock from the castle cove lookout. It was nice since it did have seating.

Love it!! Nice wooden pavement to walk on, connecting to another lookout point - Natural Bridge.

If you drove here, it's pretty easily accessible by foot, but what I recommend will be to park at grandstand, walk here by food to soak in all the Indian Ocean has to offer. Breath taking views with the endless and vast ocean, hearing the natural sound of waves crashing against these walls. A simple 40 minute hike with nature could easily put your troubled heart at ease, even for the moment

Nice and scary to look over the edge, the pathways has no barrier. The wind is very strong people could fall down of the pathways with their kids

Great view. Saw dolphins playing off the coast in the distance. Island rock is probably the best of these three lookouts
