Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley

LOVED this place! Remote and a long trip, but worth it. Food was fantastic (with entire vegan menus!), service was phenomenal, and the fitness center was one of the best experiences I’ve had at hotels. Kangaroos everywhere, all the time. Stunning views and plenty of activities!

Wow! If you don’t have a bucket list then start one. This is definately one of the most beautiful places we have been to in the world… and we have travelled extensively.
Our stay consisted of complete serenity and peacefulness.
It was a hard decision to make as to whether to go hiking and horse riding or lounge around the gorgeous accommodation and swim in your own indoor heated swimming pool. I chose all of it.
Matching this magnificent property were the staff and Tim the General Manager. They are absolutely amazing hard working people that adore and are proud to be in this unique environment. Professional, intelligent, versatile, fun and completely kind are a few words that come to mind.
Oh yes… then there is the food and wine. Yummmmooo.

A mystique getaway and stunning location for a holiday. The accommodation was perfect. I travelled with a friend and two little girls, and we all had the best time. To all the staff at Wolgan Valley, we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived to when we left, which made our stay a beautiful experience, especially with the little ones. The food was divine, with so much to explore, see and wonder about in relaxation.
The facilities, service, food, adventures, views and, most of all, the staff were perfect. We couldn't have been more accommodated. Wolgan Valley was a One&Only holiday experience far exceeding all expectations. At every turn, we were delighted with the friendly customer service, always greeted with a smile, and they spoiled us in every way from start to finish. Luxurious perfection!
My partner and I stayed here last week as part of our honeymoon and it was everything we hoped for! The location is absolutely stunning - the mountains, wildlife and seclusion of the valley was breathtaking. We loved walking and cycling around.
Our room was beautiful. We loved the private heated pool, big bath, big comfy bed and fireplace. It was spotlessly cleaned and serviced every day and the little touches like bath salts and evening turn down service made it extra special.
The food menu was incredible, especially the dinner menu in the restaurant! Breakfast, lunch and room service were all great too, and the drinks.
We also really appreciated the arrival drinks in celebration of our wedding/honeymoon, the house sparking rose is devine :)
Every single member of the team who we interacted with was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable (including restaurant, bar, guest services, reception, room service, management), they have created such a warm and welcoming environment for guests. All in all, we loved our stay and would highly recommend :)

Took my wife here for a special anniversary- the service from start to finish was exemplary. From a freshly lit fire to warm the villa, to regular room turn downs and a constantly topped up mini bar as well as fantastic food & wine in the restaurants- we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We also loved our attached pool (although the water would be better heated). Our only other gripe was that the provider activities could be better value for money…Otherwise fabulous!

Simply perfect

We travelled Australia for 5 weeks with our 2 Kids (9 & 10) years old coming from Europe.

Our stay at Wolgan Valley was perfect and by far the best during our stay in Australia.
The stuff, the food, the villa, the horses, the activities… we simply loved it all.
Of course, the Kangaroo and Wombats were our absolute highlight.

An absolutely stunning property, beautiful rooms and amazing staff. We had an incredible week stay at Wolgan Valley for our honeymoon and wished we could've stayed for longer! Food was excellent, they easily catered to dietary requirements. Was lovely to chat to the same staff every day, hear interesting facts about the resort and get some great tips for activities around the property. The guides were all very qualified and made our experiences highly enjoyable. We saw heaps of wildlife and felt privileged to stay in such a beautiful location. Can't wait to go back!

This was our 4th time staying at Emirates Wolgan Valley. Once again, we were treated to a fantastic, amazing holiday over Christmas. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the activities (Horse riding, tree planting, archery, night wildlife tour etc). We had a wonderful time together as a family bike riding around the location over the 5 days we were here.
The staff were attentive and no request was too difficult.
I have to say that the food has definitely leveled up since our previous visit 3 years ago with the revamp with Bentley Dining. Christmas Day lunch and Boxing Day BBQ lunch were a definite highlight.
Some improvements can be made with the consistency and level of housekeeping. Pool cleaning during changeovers is a necessity these days for hygiene as well.

When we surrendered ourselves to the fact that in the current climate, large gatherings and international visitors may not be an option, we opted for a private intimate wedding with no guests. As residents of the Blue Mountains, the Emirates One & Only was in our backyard and seemed like a fantastic option. We were not disappointed. We expected something special and we got just that. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after. Every aspect of our experience was unique and made our special day worth it. We wanted a relaxed, intimate wedding experience and we got just that. Our room was classy, the indoor pool was not a gimmick and often used. The food, simply divine… slowing down to savour ever bite. The in-house gin made from local waters… the gin and tonic, you’ll want again after you’ve left. The staff, went above and beyond, friendly, accomodating… helping with wedding pictures where possible and other little things that happen when you get married… little things to make our already stress free experience better. Ilia, our events manager, was there for us from the moment we arrived. We opted for a horse ride as part of our package, this did not disappoint. Our capable guide Mel as the lead, we navigated one of the widest canyons in the world. A natural gem. The Emirates brand is synonymous with unique luxury experiences and this exceeds the mark. A unique experience we will do again.

Location, location, location. Breathtaking beauty. Absolutely stunning. I wish I could describe it to you. Once you’ve arrived you know that you’ve reached somewhere special. The natural beauty of Wolgan Valley is put on show and is certainly what sets it apart from other 5 star accommodations. The food and service are also impeccable. If you enjoy eating steak as much as I do, they serve two of the best steaks I've ever eaten, the striploin at lunch and the scotch fillet at dinner. The villas are amazing with every single need anticipated. Total relaxation is the goal and I have to say they’ve achieved it. At this price it’s certainly reserved for special occasions, but if you’re on the fence about going I think you should do it. Just make sure to stay for 2 or more nights to make the most of it.

Also if you needed more of a reason to go, during the current pandemic room service is free of charge. So if you feel like a Reuben sandwich at 4am. You got it. :D

It’s hard to know where to start with describing our experience at Wolgan Valley.
We booked a three night stay in August 2022 for our 10 year wedding anniversary and admittedly did hesitate prior to booking after reading a few not so great recent reviews.
With a premium rate comes premium expectations.
From the moment we set foot on the property, to the moment our tyres crossed the gate when leaving, we were immersed in the experience that is, One and Only Wolgan Valley.

Admittedly, the villas do need a little renovation but they are well and truly under way so that’s obviously nothing new to them. But for the lack of fashionable paint colours in the villa, was made up in every other way possible.

Firstly, the housekeeping team. Just wow.
The speediness of their service multiple times through the day blew me away everyday.

The meals.
For an all inclusive package, our expectations were exceeded every meal. We aren’t huge breakfast eaters but breakfast overlooking the valley with the fire behind us watching the kangaroos was honestly a highlight each day.

The staff felt more like friends by the end of the three days and if you dare lifted a finger to get anything yourself felt like you were doing them a disservice.
Joe, Holly and especially Stella- you all were absolute standouts and made our experience at every meal so much fun!

‘Sneaky’ the mixologist created some of the most magical cocktails and our only regret was that we couldn’t try them all ( but we did make a good dent in the menu!!) Do order the Wollemi Mist for an experience like no other and their version of the Espresso Martini hit the spot each afternoon :)

Your only regret is that you can’t stay longer!

Resort is great.
Villas are incredible with lots of space and the pools are great. Beds are really comfortable.
Scenery is absolutely amazing. Valley is incredible. Lots of walks or 4wd tours you can do.
Food and drink are included. drinks were great, but food definitely could have been better. Didn’t hit the mark for fine dining we expected.
Staff are absolutely top notch.
And visit the spa too if you can, it’s worth it.

One & Only never fails to impress however One&Only Wolgan Valley is truly unique in the most incredible location! The service is impeccable, the food is incredible and the environment thoughout the hotel is relaxed and tranquil. The Wolgan Valley is truly magical with breathtaking views, wildlife, relax atmosphere, making it ideal place to unwind and disconnect. The villas are simply impeccable and most importantly, the service is excellent with exceptional and genuinely kind staff. I absolutely loved watching the kangaroos and wombats from our pool! Thank you for truly magical experience, we will be back!

Absolutely stunning location and the villas are perfect. The signature horse ride is a must. Plenty to do if you're looking to keep busy and lots of options to just sit back and relax. Food by The Bentley Group was wonderful and an extensive wine list to match.

Stayed here for 4 days recently and it was absolutely wonderful! It’s been a bucket list destination for a long time and whilst it is painfully expensive, we don’t regret a single moment.
Call outs:
• all food and drinks are inclusive.
• very child friendly - there is a kids program but even for our toddler everybody was very accommodating and welcome. there’s even an on-site babysitter / childcare center!
• large range of activities / tour guides we especially loved the star gazing and campfire stories, horse riding, private 4WD picnic tours
• kangaroos wallaroos wallabies wombats all roaming freely on the grounds
• EXCEPTIONAL 7 Star Service. from the porters to the wait staff to the guides - everybody was so warm and friendly you can tell they really love their job! even though the prices are all inclusive we ended up spending hundreds just in tips based on the wonderful service!
Can’t wait to go back!

Tranquility

Escape from the noise of city and come to a place for peace quiet and harmony with nature. It's located 3 hour drive from Sydney. This is my second visit with the family after 6 years, and the standard levels are great. The experience of the staff makes a big difference. The 3 people who need to be thanked for their professionalism and there service are the General Manager, and Simon and Loren. They were excellent and made the experience more enjoyable.

The horse riding is a must if you are there, and it's a nice trail. Plus the night experience for animal lookout is great. There is plenty to do. The kids were all out cycling around in the resort.

This place is truly amazing, we had an absolutely fabulous time. The food was very good and they have addressed concerns over a repetitive menu with offering an alternating daily list of menu items for lunch and dinner. We were traveling with our baby who is just under 2 year old - the kids menu was a bit bland however I guess not all toddlers are as experimental as ours - he was more interested in our food.

The staff really took an interest in him which was really lovely to see and they were super accommodating like giving him different activity books during dinner, cutting some veggies to feed our wombat and sending dessert to our room for no charge. The room was really nice, we loved the fireplace and plunge pool. We had a resident wombat outside of our villa for the whole stay which was super cute.

The Spa was one of the best I have been to with super luxurious treatment rooms and excellent therapists.
The only two negatives for me (nit picking here) the bed was not comfy- like it was ridiculously soft. I found out on the last day from other guests that they are able to do something to help rectify this. Note I didn't mention this to staff while I was there but I'm positive if I would have they would've gone above and beyond like with every other request. The second comment, the grounds staff could maybe clear the animal droppings a bit more frequently there was a LOT but maybe to be expected (I told you I'm nit picking!).
Lovely people, beautiful part of the world, I can't remember the last time I felt so relaxed.

Outstanding service and facilities. Amazing staff.
The accommodation is fantastic. The rooms huge and beautifully appointed.
We split our time doing activities and relaxing. We rode horse, bikes and did a hike. Great ways to explore the amazing property.
The food is also outstanding with an abundance of choices.
And if you love kangaroos, this is definitely the place to visit

We have travelled all over the world and this is definitely one of my favourite places! My wife and I both agree that the staff we amazing and accommodating. The resort was clean and inviting and very relaxing. The rooms were very cosy. We had a great time and would recommend this to anyone looking to get away. A very lovely experience

We went for a short break just before Christmas, as we got a relative good deal, considering the standard rates.

It was an awesome experience, excellent service/staff, great villa and wonderful surroundings. Kangaroos everywhere, getting very close, you can almost catch them. Lots to explore, great for our little boy. Highly recommended!!!
