Great place for a BBQ and the trailhead for the Brindle Creek Track, which leads to some stellar waterfalls. We only saw one other person up here the whole time too!

The roads are dirt but graded, so no issues in a 2WD car. It can get quite cold at night though, and very warm in the day. Also, BE WARNED, there are a serious amount of leeches so make sure you are prepared for that. We were caught by surprise.

Truth be told, we camped out here overnight since we arrived at 12am at night and our camping app told us this was a campsite even though it turned out it was no; we saw no people or rangers. Yes, it was illegal, but we didn't have much choice.

There is a nice clean drop toilet and a faucet for washing your hands (not potable).

A lovely old Antarctic Beech to admire!

Quiet day-use picnic spot with several benches and woodfire BBQs (BYO firewood). Facilities include two drop toilets. Nice flat lawn under the shade of the trees for a picnic blanket for sunny Autumn weather.

A beautiful spot to stop and cook up a barbecue, bring a bag for you rubbish.
A massive old tree sits opposite the toilets, 2 different species of wild raspberry surround the picnic area and a glimpse of the scenic rim surrounding Mt Warning can be seen.
Also a track leading to 2 Waterfalls sits on the other side of the main road a beautiful walk🙂, with many flowers and fungi growing.
