Flat Rock Lookout

A very nice view, definitely worth checking out once. Although its a solid 30-40 minute dirt road drive from millefield to get there. Definitely requires an SUV atleast to get there (unless you're not too stressed about the bottom of your car being torn up by rocks and branches).

Hard to get to. Views are very good, though. Very windy.

Trekked it up her at 1am with the misses to see the Geminids, we drove up in a 2006 Honda Jazz. Everyone saying it's "un-driveable" needs to grow a pair.
Google maps might take you around the back to Thursby road, that's private property, don't take that.
Take Hayes road and follow it the whole way up.

Absolutely magnificent. Sweeping views of The valley below, beautiful tall black boys down in the gully. I can't get enough of this place.

Much better views than I thought - beautiful vista over Congewai valley. No rails and step falls - hold onto those kids

Road conditions poor to get there , but worth the effort , just drive carefully .
