Exeter Farm Stay

My husband booked our stay at Exeter Farm Stay for my birthday last weekend. Which was a lovely surprise! Jill and Ray are both wonderful people. The property is beautiful and peaceful, clean and comfortable, which is so important because it made it the perfect place for my toddler. It was great to be surrounded by nature and getting a break from city/everday life. Perfect place for a couple or a family with children. My daughter loved being able to get outside and pick a fresh apple of the tree as a snack, or saying hello to the chickens and picking up fresh eggs. Jill took us around to see the cows and the sheep which was fun. Would definitely go back for another stay!

This was our second time staying at Exeter Farmstay and we loved it just as much as the first time. It was perfect for us with a 3 and 1 year old. Lots of outdoor space and gardens to roam, the kids loved the animals. It is peaceful with beautiful views, perfect for enjoying a glass of red wine! The apartment space is very clean and comfortable, with large bedrooms that felt very homely.

Stunning scenery coupled with luxury comfort and the cuteness of newborn animals made for the perfect spring country getaway. Jill and Ray are without a doubt the best hosts we’ve experienced. Jill bought us freshly made scones and homemade jam when we arrived and Ray kindly took our little trainee farm girl on two fabulous farm tours to meet and feed the animals and see the newly born lambs and calves. Super comfortable beds, a roaring fire on chilly nights, lots of thoughtful touches and fresh eggs and herbs straight from the garden. Only a 2 hour drive from Sydney, the Souther Highlands has a south of France vibe with lush rolling hills, quaint villages, and a surprising number of wineries and excellent restaurants. Thank you Jill and Ray for your exceptional hospitality, you have a truly spectacular property in a magnificent location and we’d love to come back again soon. This was my 2nd time staying at Jill’s Farm. This time was for a wellness retreat for my friends and I. We were well looked after with all meals provided PLUS meditation, yoga and massages. Jill is the perfect host and made our stay soooo relaxing. Modern accommodation & perfectly manicured farm. Highly recommend.

We are so glad we chose your farm to get away from our busy city life for a few days. It was beyond relaxing just to sit on the front patio and have the morning breakfast or enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. The sound of birds, the crisp air and sunshine soothed our senses and re-charged our batteries. The quiet and tranquil atmosphere of the farm made us travel to place of such peace and content that we found it quite difficult to wind back to city life once again. Not to mention both of you being such perfect hosts made our stay all the more memorable. My 6.5 year old son loved every bit of his time on the property starting from befriending the chooks by tempting them with apple pieces to having a hands on experience with the farm animals whilst on a tractor ride with Ray. The time spent at the farm has created lasting memories for all of us. Thank you for everything!

It was very lovely to meet Jill and Ray, and to enjoy their beautiful farm home. My children had heaps of fun feeding the ox and sheep. We are looking forward to visiting at another time.

Far more spacious than the “Studio“ description allows for, this is a beautiful, tranquil and private spot for a weekend break away in fresh air, surrounded by nature, with an essential and cosy log fire. Jill is an attentive and discreet host, and the little food treats were also very much appreciated.

Pretty little farm stay , little far from the central hub of Southern Highlands . But definitely worth the money , has a bit of livestock some sheep cows and a funny lama . just don't run through the paddocks at dusk .. you may sprain and ankle. Haha... Beautiful place . Will be staying there again.

We had a wonderful time there. The apartment was so nice and clean. Animals are so friendly and we enjoyed the stay will definitely come back!

We were extremely happy with our stay here. Very friendly hosts, comfortable accommodation, outstanding views and an absolutely beautiful area.

Excellent experience with the family. The kids loved feeding the animals and walking out the back of the farm to the remote cabin.
