VON Thai

We had a great family dinner experience at Von Thai. The food was beautiful and the service was great! We have ordered many dishes from their menu and enjoyed every single one. The dish called son in law eggs was amazing 🤩

Didn't know there was such a good thai restaurant in the city. The food was really delicious. The fish we ordered was the best, I think. It was well cooked with an amazing sauce along with it. The waiter/waitress was really friendly and easygoing. Definitely don't miss this spot

We were visiting Adelaide for the weekend when we found this gem Thai Restaurant right next to where we were staying.

This restaurant is a must visit, the food was awesome, the service was great. We had the fish cakes, satay beef and chicken pad Thai could not fault it! I only have a photo of the fish cakes! We dug straight into our mains forgetting to take photo!

Very delicious food, friendly staff and I highly recommend tom yum fried rice and Sarawak laksa noodles soup. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a cute little glass of drink.

Blown away by the flavours in the green curry . So many vegan options but i think the spring rolls were my favourite. Beautiful friendly staff and great atmosphere. 10/10 will be back.

Ordered a chicken green curry and rice. Very authentic and tasty. Lots of chicken and veggies, and amazing creamy coconut taste. Other menu also look so tasty, I’ll definitely try more next time.

Von Thai was great. The food, service and atmosphere were worth 5 stars. We went with the banquet style menu and had dishes we wouldn't normally order and so delicious. I am gluten and dairy free and was perfectly accommodated. Couldn't ask for better. The wine list was good and catered to all tastes. Price wise all was reasonable. Will definitely be back. Was a lovely evening. 😊

Really great Thai. Seaflowers was excellent and a must try.

Staff are accommodating, friendly and attentive. Food is delicious with reasonable portion. Love the sauce of seaflowers. Could eat two bowls of rice with that sauce. Thai fried chicken pad thai is quite yummy too. Good vibe and interior.

Food was delicious! Beautiful flavours. Small intimate inside dining area.
Staff were friendly, however there were times where we felt they could have been a bit more attentive (for example once we were seated, took a while to even be given menus. Meanwhile a table who arrived after us already had been served and had their drinks before anyone had even come to ask for our drinks order).

Very nice night out with friends at VON Thai, 7 of us for dinner. Service was very friendly, it wasn't too busy, and there is quite a lot of parking on the street, and surrounding streets. The food was nice, served quickly and about the right portion size.

Wow, so pleasingly surprised. All the dishes were delicious and the flavours were particularly well balanced. Everything was fresh and not generically made. The drinks were appropriately chilled and the service was attentive but not overly intrusive. Definitely recommend.

Really loved this place. I'm not a lover of spicy 🔥 hot where my friends are. Von catered for all our spice and heat levels and did not disappoint. The dishes were large, packed with quality proteins and vegetables. The sauces were flavoursome with perfect consistency. My duck rice dish was filled with meat. The service was impeccable, our host was friendly, caring and knowledgable. The venue was clean, modern, easy on the eye. Bathroom was also clean. We had a wonderful time - thank you

Delicious food, cheery and beautiful staff! The staff were very nice to us and even gave my daughter a scoop of ice-cream on the house. The food was authentically Thai and the spiciness was just right (you can also choose the level you prefer). The chef used various ingredients to add crunch to enhance the dishes. Definitely worth every single cent!

The place is cozy and wheelchair friendly. The waitress Sue was so thoughtful, helping us make the food softer to suite us.

I walked into Von Thai from a nearby hotel circa 1 pm. It immediately felt like a cosy place for good food and conversation. The pork belly is thinly sliced and strangely, tasty but seemingly not oily, like no other. I also like my pot of green tea and jasmine rice. The pork belly is insanely beautiful, I had more rice than my unusual, possible the best Thai I had for the past two years - thumbs up for the Chef!

Fabulous food and service at our lunch just now, thank you! Perfect mix of subtlety and strength, as far as flavours. We loved the chicken drunken noodles and the larb!
