Eyelines Optometrists

I have been to Eyelines, Legana many times the staff are always friendly and helpful - the first time I went in to book an appointment and one of the ladies cleaned my glasses, tightened the screws and replaced the nose guards. Most recently I got sunglasses

Needed urgent eye help right on closing time.. yet these ladies stayed open to help me, an out of town person who they had never met before, so I cant thank them enough..

The staff met all my needs, promptly, efficiently and professionally.
I felt valued. Well done team!! 😀

Would not recommend. Left a message to book an appointment and never got a call back, called back 6 hours later and received a very snappy Amy, who "doesn't have time to check voice mails", which I understand people get busy, BUT if your going get snappy and hang up on a customer because they simply said "I called earlier and left a message" make sure you hang up BEFORE you call them a name. When I tried to call back to speak to a manager, she very angrily said she doesn't have one, then refused to answer the phone. Highly suggest some customer care training for her.
EDIT: Turns out its Amy's last day, so shes doing whatever she pleases apparently! Regional manager called me and apologized for the behavior, appreciate how it was handled and so quickly by management.

Had my eyes tested and prescription hadn't changed. Thought I would get a cheap extra pair to use my health fund entitlement of $200. Expressly said MANY times that I was a student and needed my glasses for laptop use. Eventually was told I would have to pay $62 gap. Ok then. Took 3 weeks and when I picked them up they were terrible. Turns out they had been made as reading glasses in spite of my saying over and over that they were for laptop use. I had been assured that if they weren't right they would be fixed at no charge but I WAS charged an extra $70. So a total of $132! When I said I didn't want to be out of pocket AT ALL. If I'd known it would be that much I wouldn't have got them. And the lenses are nowhere near as good as my last ones so it was a complete waste of money.
Agree that they need to supply quotes and guarantees in writing. I will not be going back.

Today charged in excess of $100 above verbally quoted gap fee. Strongly recommend any quotes be obtained in writing. Any wonder Eyelines NOT a Medical Benefits preferred optometrist.
