Hamra Centre Library

Hamra Centre Library is one of the best libraries in South Australia. For me, the best thing about it is the study room. It’s very quiet and has several desks and extra chairs on nice little view. Additionally, there is a variety of books, laptops, and computers you can use, as well as children's toys and computer gaming for teens. They also offer activities for people of all ages, from children to older individuals. The library has plenty of parking, making it easy to find a spot, and if not, street parking is also available and not far away. They offer games for adults like chess ♟, table tennis 🏓, etc. Additionally, it has a water fountain, little ready coffee machine at the entrance.

Hamra Centre Library is a great book resource center and a great place for reading and learning. The environment and service are very good. There are a lot of books and magazines in various languages and there is also a Toy Library. Many seats for quiet study. The Library Returns open 24 hours is a very user-friendly service.

Very nice library with a large collection. Didn't check out all the areas. An art gallery runs off the library foyer. It's a circular space and had an artist's exhibition on show. Parking is easy.

The environment is good, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful although it can be a bit noise during school holidays and after 3.15 during school terms. It can be a bit crowded sometimes. The library is trying hard to get new books on the shelves.

It's a nice and beautiful library with lovely staff.
There is a Quiet Study room if you want to study. But sadly you may find some people speak on the phone or take off their shoes... If you are reading this and you have done those uncivilized manners, please stop it.

This place is awesome! I could see the great care the admin has put on this precinct. I really enjoyed my time there. Books, rooms and places for kids, PC's available, good customer service. Nothing to add

They have GREAT baby and toddler time activities twice weekly. The facilities are new, functional and next door to a gorgeous park and playground. They have a free toy library and, in the holidays, activities for bigger kids. The staff have always been cheerful and helpful.

Beautiful and clean library, lots of toys in the toddler section for the children to play with! The workers are always so lovely and helpful. 🙂

My favourite library in whole South Australia. Staff is very friendly and they provide a great service. Has a good collection of comics, cooking books, children's books, magazines, movies and I love their seating arrangements.

This library is great for many reasons, something for everyone. Also, the building is adjacent to a shaded grassy area with new nature playground. Bring your picnic!

Hamra Centre Library is a busy place. I was there to see the JP. It is well decked out and serves the community well.

Staff is very very helpful, library is very well maintained, great collection of books and toys and facilities. Love the manicured lawns and kids playarea both inside the library and next door.
