This was some really good food! Fresh and cooked perfectly. Had the brisket with the mac & cheese and it didn’t disappoint.
The young lady at the register had the BEST customer service I’ve seen in such a long time! So polite. Will definitely be back. Only regret is I never found this place sooner !

Oh wow. We arrived here hungry and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and hospitable.
We ordered the daily special which was the beef brisket enchilada, cajun chicken tenders, pork belly roll and loaded fries.
The beef in the enchilada was soooo soft, and could be pulled with just the fork and knife. The cajun chicken tenders were so crunchy and tasty, even better with the chipotle sauce.
The pork belly roll was so large my daughter could not even finish half of it. We had our fill for about $45.

Do yourself a favor! Their BBQ menu is excellent!! From brisket to pork ribs, mac n' cheese, pickles, beef ribs, sausage links and much more... As soon as you step in you know this is the right place, the service is great, the staff are friendly and the food, oh man, I whish I could give 10 stars!!

Love stopping by here on the way to the beach through Appin. So delicious we buy breakfast to eat right away and lunch for later. Definitely worth the drive to try & for large orders to take out to events

A really unexpected surprise in Appin. They were under the pump when we visited, but the staff were so lovely, still up for a chat and very clear about how long our order would take.

When our food arrived - I had a breakfast plate with brisket, my partner a brisket roll with slaw - it was absolutely worth the 20 minutes it took. Perfectly cooked eggs, delicious, moist, smokey, beefy brisket. It's easy to go overboard with rubs and smoking, masking the flavour of the brisket itself. No fear of that here, everything was well balanced.

There's a reason Southwest Barbecue was super busy on a Saturday morning. We're a 50 minute drive away and will certainly be back!

If your travelling through with dogs a park accross the road with amenities pub on the corner with $10 lunch mon-frid.
The pulled crispy pork yummo and beef brisket so tender. Better than a maccas any day.

Once ordered, our meals were delivered just cooked and hot and everyone in our party remarked that their food was served quickly and were hot and delicious. We will definitely be back.

My first visit, after hearing lots of good things. Arrived at 215 on a Tuesday, so a bunch of things not available (Thursday to Sunday only for some items, which is fair enough).
Had the brisket burger and a couple of Jalapeno sausages.
The hotlinks were goooood. Juicy, good skin, and a tidy amount of heat.
The brisket looked awesome. Juicy, plenty of pink smoke ring, with a good bark. The burg had good slaw, house made bbq sauce and American cheese. Went down a treat.

This place is amazing - the food is so tasty - there is nothing that isn’t good. The pulled pork, the brisket, the Mac and cheese. Hidden away and hidden in Appen - who would have thought!!

Recently moved to the area and the first time trying a quick and easy Friday night meal.
Grabbed a couple of the brisket lasagne 👌👌so good.
Will definitely be back and highly recommended.

Absolutely phenomenal. I have grown up in the hospitality industry and the food here is great if your feeling like some meat. First time here and blew me away.

I took my wife for a dinner trip here.
We had been scouring the surrounding areas for some American style BBQ as we had a craving.
We noticed this place was close by and off we went.
We had no great expectations as we thought it was too close to out west Sydney, how could they do decent US style BBQ. Boy were we wrong.
We ordered the suggested 400g meat plate which consisted of Brisket, jalapeno sausage, pulled pork and ribs. It came accompanied with some slaw and pickles. We also ordered a side of corn bread and some drinks.
The brisket was to die for, and our next favourite was the jalapeno sausage. We've already agreed when we go back that's all we want.
Overall a fantastic experience and we look forward to going ba k again when we get the US bbq cravings

What a gold nugget to find at appin the food is genuine USA BBQ and it's all very good, owners went out of their way to help a small catering of 4 people that we took away for a party crispy skin pork, Baby back Ribs, brisket all just melts in your mouth pullepork and home made sausages just fantastic, best Mac n cheese I've had outside of USA, potato n bacon salad was yum and coleslaw was spot on highly recommend if driving from or to woollongong take the appin road and it's in the centre of town ....

We were travelling out of the City for a little day trip and decided to stop for a bite on the way home! This place is a Hidden Gem! Highly recommend. Food was delicious and served fast.
