Country Mile Escape Scenic Rim

We had the most amazing stay at Country Mile Escape. We had everything we needed to feel relaxed, especially sitting by the fire or having breakfast on the verandah watching the cows in the paddock pass by. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was so luxurious.
It’s only a short drive into the gorgeous town of Canungra with its many coffee shops and bakeries. There is also a great Japanese restaurant in town.
I would definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful studio.

We have just spent the most beautiful 2 nights here and loved every minute of it!
The best location for exploring the surrounding areas including the property that has cows, sheep and horses right at the fence near the cottage.
The cottage itself was immaculate, with everything beautifully presented and thought of. The bath was perfect for an afternoon wash whilst looking out at the countryside. Kitchen and BBQ meant we were self contained, perfect when travelling with a baby.
We cannot recommend Country Escape more highly. Thankyou Trish for the most lovely stay. We hope to return one day!

We had a three night stay in the Shay over the Australia Day long weekend and absolutely loved it! We have stayed here before and the cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We always love seeing the horses, sheep and cows pass our cottage daily and this time counted nearly 20 different breeds of birds that frequented the area, along with a small family of wallabies that have taken up camp behind the cottage. We also loved getting the fire pit going at dusk. Would recommend Country Mile Escape to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in the country.

We came to Country Mile Escape for two nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It was the perfect escape from the noise and busy-ness of the city, with nothing but the birds, cows, sheep and horses. The host, Trish, was lovely, recommending places to visit and popping in when we needed her.

The big bed was super comfy, and the place was very clean and had everything we needed. Especially loved the big bath tub, outdoor firepit and little deck to have our morning coffee. It's a beautiful place for a peaceful escape, and the perfect location to explore the Scenic Rim. I'd recommend to bring a good book.

We stayed at the Aerial cottage and it was absolutely beautiful, with comfortable beds, a perfect kitchen for self-catering, and breathtaking views. It is located in a serene area surrounded by farms and cattle, making it a perfect retreat. The host was very welcoming and provided everything we needed for our stay. The cleanliness and the amenities provided made our experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

Want peace and quiet with country atmosphere this is it, even clearing the sheep blocking the road to cabin was an adventure. Beautifully furnished and the cleanest cabin ever stayed in. The outdoor fire pit would be ideal for winter with great relaxing views. Enjoyed our stay. Easy no nonsense booking. Would highly recommend

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Scenic Rim Country Escape and I can confidently say that it was one of the best experiences I've had while traveling. From start to finish, everything about this Airbnb was exceptional.

First and foremost, the communication with the host was outstanding. They were prompt, friendly, and provided all the necessary information to ensure a smooth check-in process. They were also readily available throughout my stay, promptly addressing any questions or concerns I had.

Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and tidiness of the property. It was clear that the host took great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, which made me feel comfortable and at ease. The interior design was a mixture or modern and tradtional, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere.

The amenities provided were top-notch. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with toiletries, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.

10/10 Would stay at this Airbnb again!!

The scenery is nothing but incredible with the animals roaming in the paddocks.

We have just had two lovely nights at 'Country Mile Escape'. It truely was an escape from the hustle and bustle of life. Beautiful accommodation and lovely peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit watching the 'super moon come up' and was greeted by one of the friendly horses. It was lovely watching the birds twitter and the baby calf follow its mother. Nature at its best! Trish was a fabulous host too. Highly recommend.

The cottage was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a couple-size bath. The tranquil rolling grassy hills with cows, sheep, and horses grazing all day long were the perfect setting for us to reconnect and relax. We absolutely loved our little mid week getaway to Country Mile Escape. Close enough to town if you wanted to go out but so secluded you could be in the middle of nowhere. Studio was very comfortable, king size bed was amazing and the bath! wow! Everything you needed, we spent a fair bit of time outside in front of the fire pit enjoying the mountains and the friendly cattle and sheep and wallabies that stopped for a hello. Trish was an amazing host and we would love to come back again! So many birds and very quiet if you are looking for a relaxing break.

We loved our two night getaway in the Aerial cottage. We wanted a country escape for our Honeymoon arriving from Perth WA. We are so happy with The country mile. A private secluded place, just 20 mins from Canungura town center and close enough to surrounding National parks.

We stayed for 4 nights and it was absolutely magical. Trish went above and beyond to make this experience very special during our stay at the beautiful Shay Cottage which did not disappoint.

A very generous bath and bedroom, indoor and outdoor fire places. An alfresco area that overlooked rolling hills and stunning sundowners. Great amenities for cooking.

Truly an amazing place to stay.

Trish and Murray from Country Mile Escape went above and beyond in welcoming us to their slice of heaven. The accommodation is amazing, offering 5 star facilities with amazing views, lots of room to explore Nd animals for the kids to watch/feed. The location is perfect being a short drive to Canungra and Tamborine, providing lots of activities to choose from.

The family and I loved our stay so much and will definitely be back.

We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time at this beautiful, peaceful, property.
The cabin was very comfortable and very clean providing everything needed for a getaway.
Sitting around the outdoor fire pit was a favourite for me , along with soaking in the extra large bath tub . We also saw cows, goats, wallabies , horses and even an owl .
We will definitely be returning to Country Mile Escape

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The bed was comfy and it was cosy sitting by the warm wood fire. It was great tuning into nature and zoning out for a few days. We visited Country Mile Escape for our 10 year wedding anniversary spending 4 days at this beautiful accommodation in the Gold Coast Hinterland. We found the whole experience very romantic and elegant. The cottage is beautifully designed with a homely feel throughout, you can see kangaroos and other animals all over the property. Conveniently located close to vineyards and nature walks/ activities and when your done exploring there is nothing better then coming back to your private country cottage to run a bath.
We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of Country Mile Escape and this will be a regular getaway for us when we need to escape, rest and relax!!
