Wingham Showground

Went to watch our granddaughter doing the barrel racing..It was wonderful to watch...of course our granddaughter won her age group...

Ian and the team of the Showground are amazing and saved our wedding! With very late notice and a hail mary email Ian reached out and said they might be able to help and help they did.

Ian was very helpful and went above and beyond to help make sure our special day was able to happen.

The location to town and the facilities on site with parking, clean and spacious bathrooms, cover, and kitchen for cleaning up made the set up and pack up a breeze.

Can't thank them enough for what they did on such short notice.

We're going here for the lapidary club, this place is fantastic. With a huge display to admire, an awesome range of minerals, crystals, to choose from so you can easily learn from experienced people to cut, grind, polish, facet ect. You can make your own jewellery at a very affordable cost. This place really is for everyone who loves this kind of crafting. Opened on Saturdays only wingham rockhounds is the place to be.

Caretaker and his off sider are good blokes the parking is very sloped but the toilets have been renovated very well, the people at the Men's shed are happy and keen to show you around

We spent 3 nights here and highly recommend. We were in a 12.5 mtr bus and there was plenty of room. The area is clean and well maintained, the amenities were very clean. Ladies even had flowers. There is a coin operated laundry and dryer. Also 2 clothes lines off the laundry. The new caretaker Graeme (Dorby) was very helpful and would check in each day to make sure we were ok. Easy walk to the town for supplies or local Clubs or Restaurants. We will be in Wingham and will certainly stay here again.

The showgrounds looked to really cater for all camping For a small nightly fee $20 ish..
I never camped there but used the rv dump point.
I would have stayed there if there was no room at the nature reserve.

Second night at wingham show ground good rates with power, second toilet block is new and lively Ian the caretaker was extremely helpful highly recommended one of the better showgrounds I have stayed, actually best so far.

Good place to set up camp for a while. Close to a service station with fresh bread and milk at the servo. Powered sites available at an additional cost.

Lovely spot. Stopped over to camp with horses. Yards and facilities were great and well priced.

Loved it here bit dry when was here have washing machine showers and toliets all very clean but old still a great stay

Music good, atmosphere good, hot but bearable, & humidity SUCKS because we are cooking Woodfired Pizzas at the akoostic music festival

Great archery there each week at Thursday at 6pm. Has a couch to teach you.

Level powered sites. Clean amenities. A great spot to camp.

Great festival, had a ball

Great Museum and freindly people love the tour i got and my family.

A marvellous venue in Wingham, providing endless entertainment for all tastes.

Five day visit had a great time made great friends while there

Wingham spinners and weavers hold a craft day every Wednesday there.very good
