BENT ON FOOD

Enjoyed a delicious scrambled eggs on toast with halloumi. Washed it down with a nice orange juice. Friendly staff, great service, wonderful atmosphere. First time in Wingham and Bent on Food. Will be back next time for sure.

My partner and 2 friends and I dined here today... we were all very happy with what we received. Great coffee and excellent service with a smile.
The taller girl with dark hair was great! She had plenty of good suggestions and a sense of humour which we all loved.

Thank you for a delightful lunch in your al fresco area out the back. My big brekkie was beautifully cooked and presented, and the service was very prompt and friendly. The tea and coffee was also excellent.
I thoroughly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a friendly haven with tons of ambience, and good food and beverages at reasonable prices.

Donna and her Bent On family are amazing .. not just staff but more like family so friendly and walking into Bent On is like being welcomed into their home !! The atmosphere is relaxed and casual with colourful chairs and tables creating an artistic ekleptic presence. A walk out the back into an expansive shaded beer garden with scattered tables easily accomodating large groups with a stage for local and visiting bands and musical groups. A delightful addition to the Cafe inside and will be checking out the social pages for upcoming bands that will grace this fantastic stage and entertain the good folk of Wingham at Bent On. Well done Donna. What a treasure u have created and really made Wingham even more wonderful !! 💖

Thank you to Erika and Brendon who were so lovely and made us feel very welcome, it was the perfect atmosphere for us to sit and enjoy the nice food a good air conditioning on a hot day while we read our books. Also the big brekkie was delicious!!

Our favourite place for morning coffees. Friendly staff and love that I can order online. Also love a Friday lunch with a nice wine.

Our breakfast at bent on food was just awesome . Lemon and ricotta pancakes were the best we have tasted anywhere - and the big breakfast with a Rudys sausage is the best start to the day you can ever get .
If ya want the best breakfast in chilled surrounds with nice background music and really friendly staff - Bent on food is the only place to go .

Nice spot to top by for breakfast and coffee. Their homemade tomato relish that come with big breakfast was so good we had to get a jar from their shelf. There are also lots of products and some other local goods for grab. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff here especially Laura (I think that was her name) super helpful

The food was outstanding the kransky has some kick to it but our food was Devine.

Coffee update. Best, consistant coffee in Wingham. Went on mothers Day, and they had a band. The Imponderables. Great music that suited the old classical building. Pleasent staff in a friendly atmosphere. Old worldly. Reminds me of an old-fashioned store / restaurant. Was very busy, but staff did a great job serving customers. Added to that coffee was good, too

I review a lot of breakfast cafes and only found BOF as we were randomly passing through Wingham. This easily rates as my favourite breakfast in recent months. The guy hosting/serving did an incredible job of making everyone feel at home and our breakfast dishes were phenomenal. The crispy bacon (including rind) and grilled banana on the fluffy pancakes pleased my partner and every item on the big breakfast plate was prepared perfectly. The seasoning and mustard seeds inside the Kransky worked well and like another reviewer said, after trying the tomato relish that comes with this dish, we bought a bottle. Seating is available at the front, inside, on the deck at the back or seat yourself beyond the deck in the small garden.

We spontaneously popped into this place while travelling from Canberra to Brisbane, after a small detour to Brush Nature Reserve, and it takes a lot for me to leave a review, but these guys earned it.

Great service, great atmosphere, but the reason I'm writing, great food! Specifically, but not limited to, the Cajun pulled pork burger.

Ive eaten a lot of these, and this one got a "Damn, I think this is the best pulled pork burger I've had" out of me. It was solid enough that I didn't finish it in 5 mouthfuls (maybe the first time ever) and it didn't fall apart in my hands! Which is a major achievement for pulled pork and slaw burgers, apparently.

Between this and the chips, which I'm pretty sure had a secret ingredient because I've never tasted chips like them, it was a great visit!

We had another great coffee and meal today. The Pork Belly Taco is our go to meal…10/10.
It’s our favourite cafe in the area and we love Wingham’s little gem.

Willing to adjust and/or build a plate with the things I like. To me, that's the mark of a good Cafe, their willingness to construct a meal, modified as it may be, and it was beautiful too. Ty😊

Staff are friendly and the wifi useful- as there was very limited (none) 4 G coverage in Wingham the day we visited!

Food was excellent. Our bookclub of ten thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and all meals came from the kitchen in a very reasonable time.
We had a lovely table in part sun, and out of the chilly westerly wind. Everyone agreed it was a lovely time. It’s also nice to be able to enjoy a glass of wine with lunch, thanks for being licenced Donna.
