Kingston-on-Murray Caravan Park

We dropped by to check out this park. The owner was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. He took the time to show us around this beautifully maintained park himself. He is obviously very proud of this beautiful property. We will definitely be booking to stay here next trip. We appreciate their responsible approach to checking guests vaccination status. Well done. Looking forward to our stay.

The position is a peaceful riverfront setting, walking trails, large shady sites, birdlife - simply perfection.

Great Park lots of amenities camp kitchen bbq vegie gardens to use for added extras on the BBQ great owners who stayed open for us as we slid in after 7pm showed us around with a smile. We wish them the best of luck with the floods hope those levies hold for you over Xmas and beyond.

Dog friendly cabins available. Riverbank is nice, although shady trees are few and far between. Get in quick during the busy periods if you want to camp or spend a fair bit of time next to the river.

Absolutely loved our stay. Very quiet and restful. Clean and well established. Safe for cchildren to play. Was wonderful to hear so many birds. Definately would like to stay there again.

This is such a great friendly family owned and operated caravan park.
Set in amongst the lovely big trees that home some amazing birds with nests fall of babies. Nice and quite, small but enough room. It has a great camp kitchen that has everything you need with a full size fridge, freezer and table tennis table also the toilet/shower block is very large and very clean too. It has a swimming pool, a nice big playground for the little ones, you can hire karts to ride around. It has a massive grassed area for footy and cricket. Its a short walk down to the river where you can throw in a line or two, sit back, relax and take in the lovely scenery or you could hire a canoe to paddle along the river. We stayed 3 nights 4 days but could have stayed a lot longer. Thanks for the lovely customer service from all that work at the park. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed here with our Whippet in a tent at a powered site in April 2017 for 2 weeks. The owners are very friendly and helpful people, and they gave us a warm welcome.

I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the toilets and showers. Every time I used them they were spotless. There is a large and well equipped camp kitchen, and that too was very clean.

The park is set in a very beautiful location, with lots of big shady trees all around the park, and lawn around each site. The area is home to the regent parrot, and we saw several of them in the park, especially when the owners used the sprinklers to water the lawns. The River Murray is a very short walk through to the back of the park. I could never grow tired of looking at the beautiful scenery along the river. A couple of times in the early evening we saw kangaroos in the distance along the river bank.

We had a very peaceful and pleasant stay, and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Kingston-on-Murray Caravan Park as the perfect place to stay for families, couples and anyone who enjoys the great outdoors.

The staff are awesome here, fantastic amenities and a clean park that is pet friendly. I stayed in a cabin and it was lovely. Brilliant hot water and showers with strong pressure. The park is right on the river front. For a small town this is a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed here end of February 2013 on a powered site. The sites were grassed and shady, some had concrete pads or shade cloth. The facilities were very clean, the camp kitchen well equipped and the pool was a mini oasis just magic. Peter and Lisa owner/managers were very friendly and accommodating. This park is extremely quiet and we found it a fantastic place to stay. Shopping centres and wineries were very close by. Well worth a visit when in the area. Check out their website for their special rates, very affordable.

Awesome pool area. When I got there it was 38 degrees so the pool was a great place to cool off..

The staff are gorgeous.
This is a friendly lovely retreat away from the norm.
But be prepared to spend time socialising and talking to each other, cause you phones won't work. A great place to get back in touch with reality and really build relationship without all the technology.
A beautiful clean park, lovely pool and bbq area, and a playground for the kids. Great rates.

Great location, friendly management and clean facilities. We stayed down near the river in the unpowered area and had a fantastic spot without another camper in sight. Looking forward to dropping by again some time.

Initially booked on arrival for 1 night. Love it so here for another 2. Pretty park which you don't see driving past, a hidden gem really. Very well kept with lovely helpful owners, immaculate ablutions including swimming pool and superclean camp kitchen. Oh, and dog friendly. 🤩

Peaceful setting by lagoon (unpowered sites) for 4 nights, very helpful and friendly hosts, well equipped camp kitchen and spotless amenities- the pool was very welcome on a 35 degree day!! Will definitely return. Thanks Barbara and Geoff

Wife and I, and our two Border Collies stayed overnight in a cabin. A wonderful location with helpful and friendly staff.

Yes, you have to use the rainwater tanks for drinking, as the taps use the river water but not really an issue for us once it was explained. It's a lovely location with only a short walk to the river from the back of the park. We'll certainly stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Beautiful river frontage, close to Banrock Station and a great base to explore the many attractions that the SA Riverlands has to offer. Hosts friendly and amenities clean and tidy. Grounds neat.

Very happy with our stay! Great facilities, very clean, pool was amazing, owners super friendly and even helped my Husband with some new fishing knots. Will be back!

I have been here twice now~!!

Kingston-on-Murray never stops amazing me~! The facilities are very clean, aside from john and lisa being super warm and helpful they also honestly care about the park. Everything is kept in great condition and with things like a new pool and there mini tent/cabins its obvious these guys reinvest there money back into the caravan park rather than letting it go to waste and keeping every profit. This sense of pride in the park is something i really love. also just little things like have a jug in the kitchen of the cabins and print out guides for things to do is really helpful!!!

Oh and they are so affordable~!

10/10, i urge you to go visit you will not be disappointed~!!!!

Peaceful environment, well looked after park. Very close to river and wonderful bird life. Super clean amenities and lovely owners. You will be glad you stopped here.
