Exmouth 4x4 Service & Repairs

Booked in a service for n80 hilux a month in advance whilst doing half lap. Customer service over the phone and onsite exceptional. Highly recommend Mal and his team to anyone needing a service mid trip! Great work guys

I broke down in lovely Exmouth and if I wasn’t getting told I won’t touch your van! it was too busy, you’re looking at 4-6 weeks.
Mal saved me, after my meltdown, he sent one of his mechanics to check my van, he took the broken part and ordered a new one, I was back on the road within the week.
Great workmanship, professionals. I know they’re always busy, but it meant so much for them to come fix my Van. I had to leave a 5* review

Absolute legends there. Went to every mechanics in town asking for a walk in diagnostic for my cousins car before having to drive 9 hours to Geraldton, but everyone was too busy for us. This was the last stop. Went into the office told the man there, forgot to get his name, what was happening told us to bring our car straight in, took 5 mins out of his day to scan the car. He told us the fault and code, cleared it for us and when we asked him how much we owed him he told us not to worry about it and it was free of charge. Absolute legend, need more people like this in the world. 10/10 would recommend

Mal's a top bloke, not only servicing our Defender but replacing the exhaust manifold we warped on our drive over from Sydney. None of it was too hard for him, top quality work and done in record time saving us from spending a night in a motel (we were in a rooftop tent). Recommended for sure!

We can’t thank these guys enough for the excellent service we received. On our way from Coral Bay to Osprey bay our car had an oil leak, we limped to Exmouth and pulled in at Exmouth 4x4, despite being very busy the guys dropped what they were doing, assessed and repaired our car. We were back on the road in less than 2 hours and to say the price was cheap is an understatement. They even gave us a report that will help make a warranty claim. Very highly recommended for a professional and efficient service.

Thanks to Mal and the team for slotting us in with front diff issues when they are clearly under the pump. Got us in and out super quick with no dramas and alleviated our concerns. Will be our go to in Exmouth for the future.

My check engine light came on and my car became difficult to start, wouldnt accelerate.
I thought the car was going to make it's last trip to the tip, but Maddie diagnosed and fixed the issue for me.

Had damage to my caravan weight distribution hitch at Bullara and received great immediate service so we could continue our trip to Darwin. Fixed it in a flash which gave us the opportunity to travel again at 100 km/h. Highly recommend.!

Fantastic customer service. Very clean workshop and professional staff that have a lot of pride and integrity in what they do.

I popped in to buy a bit of oil for my motorcycle to top up a notch and a half. The owner kindly provided it for free even though I insisted twice. This is one of those sure indicators that this business is not about money grabbing. I’d come here for professional mechanical service in the future. If you need repairs, feel comforted that this is the place for it.

Our discovery started playing up a few days before we were meant to start our trip back down south and even though they were super busy they managed to get us in early the next morning and diagnose the problem (new driveshaft needed). As soon as the part was delivered they had it fitted and we were on our way.
Excellent communication from Maddy and good honest advice from Mal.

Mal took our call at 4:30pm on a Friday when we had an emergency with our Troopy. He let us come in after 5pm and while he couldn’t fix it there and then, he gave us a short term solution which allowed us to resume our travels. Awesome service, will be back for sure 👌

Out of the five mechanics we've been these guys where the most thorough and accommodating by far. Had a noise from the engine after coming up from Perth with a recently bought used Van. These guys got right on it and seemed very knowledgeable and professional. The suspected culprit was a failing timing component. They gave us a good estimate of the price (which was reasonable) on a possibly lengthy repair including all parts. Luckily everything was alright with the engine and we got the all clear, and finally some peace of mind, within one day. Had there been an issue I would have left the car with them without hesitation. Cute workshop dog as an added plus. Highly recommended.

These guys are awesome!! Was stuck up in Exmouth after a holiday as my wheel bearing went, guys managed to squeeze me in and fix it very quickly! Really appreciated it, thanks guys!! Highly recommend!!

This day and age everyone goes by what reviews they read and I’m one of them. If I get a good service I’ll happily give good feed back as the same as if I get a bad service I’ll say it straight out. However Exmouth 4x4 gave me a great service. My Ute DPF light we’re on and there we’re a few other stuff that needed attention. They got all the work done gave the Ute a good thorough service and it came back tip top condition. Before they did some of the work they showed me what exactly was wrong which was good. These guys are really good and their pricing is extremely fair, wish there were more garages who did this quality of work at fair prices.

Mal helped us out in between jobs to check a gearbox oil leak for us to ensure we could safely continue our travels. Thanks so much guys! Worth mentioning that nobody else in town were interested in helping (a 10 minute job)..

Squeezed us in same day with no notice after our starter motor gave up on us in the middle of our west coast roadtrip. Super friendly service from everyone we spoke to... we were in and out in an hour and all at a great price. Thanks for saving our trip!

Spoke to the owner on Wednesday arvo regards a rubber burning smell coming from the rear wheel, thought it may have needed new brakes. Even though the garage was busy asked me to come round to the garage Thursday at 8am. Took the Prado round at 8, the mechanic put the car straight onto the car lift, wheel off, cleaned out the brakes, adjusted the hand brake, as everything else seemed ok. Excellent service, top class blokes to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Got stuck on the jetty after fishing with a broken starter motor. These guys arrived in 30 min and I drove away 1,5h later. Could wait in the aircon with TV and their dog as entertainment.

Amazing people and great service!

Definitely worth the $$$. Asked at another mechanic before and they charged way more and said it would take at least 5h. Happy customers from Holland :D
