Great service and meals were out to us super quick. I had the calamari and Summer had the chicken schnitzel. Both meals were great tasting at a good price. We will be back

Went on $10 schnitzel night. Great quality schnittys, salad was great, perfect for spreading over the chips. We had a huge beef schnitty and chicken parmy not as big. Great atmosphere and had a wine tasting next door!
Have board games and great beer selection.
Also do take away! Just call them.

This was a fantastic 5 star experience! Got together with a group of mates (8 of us) for a catch up and could not have asked for a better place to go! The 'vibe' was like going to an 'old fashioned' pub in regards to the personal service and the quality of the food and drinks. The food specials are great value and their is a great range of drinks. The schnitty's were fantastic, chips superb and the fish and chips was awesome! Nothing was too much trouble and the recent renovation has really lifted the ambiance to a great level. We had such a great night, we are heading back on 'St Patrick's Day' to celebrate Patrick's Birthday!!!

Our group enjoyed another great night at the kings head, with live music, tonight was ‘The Groovematics’ great band!

Low-key and chilled out...you can relax in front of the fire and feel as comfy as in your own living room. Great selection of local beer, and seriously good food! Give yourself a break from the old pub parmy and try a little tapas of really tasty good with a focus on South Aussie produce. Love this place.

Absolutely delicious food. We sat down after we had ordered and the food was almost faster than the drinks. It was ready in less than 8 minutes and it was fresh and delicious. The bartender with the long hair was really friendly too!!

Fantastic feed! Thursday night schnitzel was 10/10 thick and juicy, was very very happy.

Came here for Pie Floater and was not disappointed! It was amazing! Service is excellent and large selection of draft beers.

6 of us went there after work for drinks and dinner on a Tuesday night, Had a "Great Time"! Everyone ordered a different meal and all Loved the Food and friendly staff! The pub has been done up nicely! We had a great chat with the new owner "Pat" who gave us a special treat making our experience even better!

Love the ambience and service, another nice place to go after work, the range of drinks and foods is great and you will enjoy the time here. Options to sit inside or outside, and more fun on the weekends of course. The location is great if tou want to continue your Baraton movement, you will find several good spots nearby. I would definitely recommend, try and you will like the King's Head Hotel!

We happened upon this place as it was near where we were staying. What a lucky find. Great value and tasty food. Nice people and top notch pub grub. Quite delightful.

Recently, we held a significant birthday celebration here for a family member. The venue was superb, the staff went out of their way to ensure that everything was perfect & provided phenomenal service, the wine selection was great & the food was beyond amazing! Staff were of great assistance in selecting wines, were more than accommodating with food preferences & expertly tailored an outstanding set menu for the event. Guests at the dinner are still raving about every aspect of the evening. I cannot recommend the overall sensational service for a private function highly enough!

This place has an awesome atmosphere and unique English-pub-style interior. We came here for the $10 schnitzel night on Thursdays, and pleasantly surprised. The meal was served quickly, delicious and great value for money, and included a tasty serving of salad as well.

My only (minor) gripe is that the pub seemed understaffed --they were working incredibly hard to provide attentive service to everyone but there was about a 15 minute wait for us to get seated and order our food.

Other than that, I would recommend this pub to both tourists and locals --it's certainly a place everyone can enjoy. We look forward to coming back ourselves!

We originally chose to eat dinner here after doing a Google search on where to find a pie floater. However, due to the place being taken over by new owners and a new menu, it wasn’t available. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed some delicious food. Sharing pizzas, antipasto platter, wedges and a chicken schnitzel. The dining room area is well lit and laid out and the service exceptional. The overall venue is really nice and in a gorgeous historical building built in 1848. Highly recommend.
