Mount Eerwah Conservation Park

Difficult and epic hike.

Hairy in only a few spots.
OK for kids as long as you're with them.

Would be dangerous when wet.

Tricky walk for the uninitiated, rewarding views, good footwear essential. Enjoy 🌄

steep, isolated, a single leech, plenty of shade, fun. oh, and the red dog from red dog framing leads you up the mountain and guards you from other dogs. terrific

The track is fairly steep but doable. I've completed it in 2hrs return. Love the vegetation the peace and less crowd.

Challenging climb! But worth it remember to continue up and over saddle to second peak for view to the coast.

Nice to have a slightly more difficult trail to walk on.
If you go don't forget to be respectfully to the property owners.

Nice hike

Amazing walk with a bit of everything. Some parts are very steep, and may take a while to reach the top for the inexperienced. Views are beautiful but not as open as mountains such as Mt Cooroora. Accessible from the end of Mount Eerwah Road where there is a small space to park. The start of the track is partly hidden on the left hand side of the road just behind the parking spaces.

Take note that the drive to the beginning of the route is a steep windy dirt road , not suitable for all cars!
